Actually, it is also our exam week, and i am also having problems with reviewing my notes. The only thing that motivates me is myself. Yes, myself. It is the fact that i believe in myself more than anyone. i believe that i should do my best in every thing that i do or will do. My college life is tough coz i also have extra curricular stuff to do. So my time for studying is cut into half. You don't have to think that studying your notes will be a bother for you, that's why you're at school right? That's enough reason or motivation for you. Your family, yourself. Think about what inspires you, what's important to you. I hope i made a right response to your topic. Thanks. :P

Good thing, i'm through with that. I usually study a day before the exam since i tend to absorb the lessons more. I've tried studying a few days before exams but it seems worthless, just like you nothing seems to enter my head. But i noticed that i usually remember things when i study the night before exams. I don't know if it will work for you but it worked for me. Just imagine yourself ending up jobless in the future and imagine your classmates having jobs... that would surely motivate you to study. Cheers!

I have to study for exams as well, and sometimes it takes me a lot to get into it and to study for it.

What should motivate you is the expectation that your course will give you qualifications which will set your foot on the ladder of a reliable career with the chance to earn more than others who haven't spent the time studying will ever do. Of course, the prospect of better earnings alone is not really convincing. Education really confers far more benefits than a high salary or a better standard of living. With conviction and purpose, you have the potential to be of far more value to society with education than without it. Exams are a necessary evil. If you have been taught properly and have studied well through the course, passing them should not be a problem. They are (or should be) just a way of assessing how well you have assimilated the knowledge and developed the necessary skills to succeed in your chosen career.

Actually we're the same. I don't really study or review my previous lessons. I don't give so much time with my studies, I give much priorities to my friends . But sometimes I give time for it because I know in the future I will be needing it with my job. Well, what can I say (I dunno if this can help you). Try to have a self-assessment, wherein try to ask question to your self, like "what is my purpose why i'm still studying?" , "why can't have time to make my studies to be my first priority?". And also try to have some what you call inspiration. And try to be competitive with others. Show them you have the guts.

You could try to study for like 15 minutes at a time. Like take 15 minutes to set it all up and get it ready. Give yourself a break for half an hour (or 15 minutes!) then look at material for 15 minutes and follow that with a reward. It's like a big game where you sike yourself out and get some study in in between!

You have to figure out yourself what will motivate you or else you cannot motivate yourself. It could be eating while studying or having group studies. As for me, I like a place where it will be quite like zero-like noise so I could concentrate on studying. What I do is I wake up early in the morning like 2 or 3am and start reading my notes. In this way, i could understand what I am reading and can help myself remember what I read without memorizing it word per word which is not the right thing to do :D Study now so you won't regret it later :D
