Hi,dear friends, when I need a lighter I'm trend to ask a male-friend for it though he don't smoke,it seems lighter is man's symble in my mind. Many women smoke too,but for me when comes to borrow a lighter I will think of man first,it is my mindset.Do u have the same feeling?Do u think a lighter is man's symble?

I think there are still people thinking smoking should be a man's activity, but not woman's. If I'd want to borrow a lighter, I will definitely ask a man too. But I am using lighter at home too, instead of using matches, as it's more convenient to use lighter.

I'm in the U.S. so, no, I don't think a lighter is a man's symbol. A lighter is a tool that, as a smoker, I need and I have as much right to carry one as a man because I am equal to a man in my country. If you're going to smoke, what's wrong with taking the next logical step and being able to light up with your own lighter?

Hi,spaladino,thx for stopping by.In China,women are equal to man 2,u r right.Women carry lighters is ok 2,lighter is a tool,but there r less women smokers than men.So I think that's why I have this mindset.Have a nice day.
