Do you think blogs are losing popularity?

I believe blogs will even be more powerful with the help of social networking sites :D especially like twitter and Facebook :) since it will be easier for most bloggers to market their sites through these social networking sites :D But with people being too engrossed with the Facebook games, I don't know :) Maybe it's just me, but I still believe blogs still have power :D

Yes, I think blogs still have power. Blogs can be quite interesting if they're focused. A lot of people jumped on the blog bandwagon just because it was there, but they didn't have anything to say and many of them are abandoned now. Blogs that are specific to a topic are an important and legitimate part of the internet now. Social networks may help people contact others, but they're not the same. For the most part, they're unfocused and sometimes absolutely pointless.
