Have you done horse riding ?

I don't own a horse but I do ride quite often now. I found a gal that needs horses exercised for barrel racing season this summer. She is having me get 2 of her horses in shape so me and her and compete this summer. Along with I will be entering me and the quarter horse gelding I'm riding into an endurance race in the end of october.

yep ride i ride most days, i've had lessons but not for many years now. i do what ever i want to with my horses. from dressage to stock work, and everything else in between.

I have my own horse so I ride about 5 times a week, one time a week with a trainer. The other 2 days a girl rides the horse and jumps with him, I've never been a fan of jumping. 3-4 weekends a year I participate in weekend courses, we ride for a trainer friday, saturday and sunday.

I practically grew up on horseback. Now my 3 yr old is begging to go riding so I'm happy that it's a hobby that will continue in our family for years to come. I've never had lessons but I may put my daughter in English riding lessons someday. I've always ridden western style but I really admire the more athletic requirements of English style.

I have gone horseback riding. I have not gone in while so when I did, I was younger and did require assistance of a professional. I think certain places require you to have assistance due to some laws. However I would love to get back on a horse and enjoy the ride....

I have ridden a horse only three times in my life. All of them at holiday resorts. No trainers! I found it difficult to keep my balance when it starts going more than a trot.
