Manny Villar is a presidential aspirant fot the 2010 Phillipine Elections this coming May. Recently a senator exposed something about Villar and the Senate was torn into two sides. Villar was accused of using his influence to make the C5 road pass his land properties and reportedly he earned millions of dollars. The senate is now torn into two: acquit Villar of all charges and Punish Villar. Is Manny Villar guilty?

Villar is guilty because he influence c5 road and he will use the fund to his campaign of being a presidential aspirant for the 2010 Philippine Elections. Manny Villar is to good to be true to be a President. Is he credible to be the President of the Philippines?

I hope & pray that all Filipino voters must be vigilant in voting their right candidate of President of the Philippines so that the progress of the country must be in one direction. No corruption, low crime, all are employed. If I will suggest Gordon for president because of his experience and Loren Legarda for vicepresident, for being helpful in time of needs.

Personally, I believe that there is truth in the accusations. There were really reports that he overpriced his property being affected by the C5 construction so that he gets more money. But then guilty or not, he should face the senate inquiry. How can we expect someone like that to be the president when he could not even face his opponents face to face.

Hear hear! He should face the senate inquiry if he believes that he is innocent.

From the way the project was executed it seems that he maybe guilty of influencing the project to be in his favor. But I do not possess any evidences that the senate has right now so I think the best one to answer it is the senate. We the public are just relying on the information we get from the media which at many times are just hyped up to sell their news. But for now I still would like to know what the Senate has to say that he is guilty or not.

I am a Mass Communication student i have to admit that there are times that the media is sensationalizing those kinds of issues. But still there won't be any issues if everything was fine. Surely something happened somewhere and someone knows it.

im sure he is. coz if not, he could have shown up and defended himself in the house of senate where tension on debates is so high instead of going to the media. it only looks like there's a politics behind coz of all the time they were seated there, why did it only come out when he affirmed his candidacy?

Except Erap, I do not see any high ranking politicians convicted of a crime regarding corruption. Its not a question of whether guilty or not but a question of who's your friend and who's aren't in the politics. The more you have friends, the less guilty you are. I think Villar is as guilty as all other politicians who has put their names in the news of unscrupulous corruption issues. But its all part to the game called "politics" and no matter how we view it, we still the one who suffer. I just hope our votes counts this time.

i think he is guilty... the way he reacts and the way he hides himself and not answers directly the accusations against him in the senate proves it.... maybe he's not that good in answering issues that is why he prefers to spend his time in wowowee...indirectly buying votes of the people....hehehe
