How many shots of alcohol before you get drunk?

I started drinking alcohol (vodka) just last semester in our dormitory :) I actually tallied the number of shots it will take me before I get drunk :) I found out that it only took me 15 shots before I get drunk haha :)
Anyway, that drinking session was fine with our parents because me and my girls were just celebrating about the end of semester, major exams and STRESS :) Haha.
So how about you, what was your drinking experience? And how many shots of alcohol will it take for you to get drunk? :)2 people like this

I can only drink about eight shoot before becoming a little tipsy.

I don't think there's wrong with it when done in occasions. But if too much and everyday that's bad of course. Anyway thanks for responding.

I can tell you are very young and I'm old. 15 shots? are you kidding me?
Maybe back in my younger days I'd have lied and said it took that much to get drunk and maybe even believed it. Now? I don't even dare to do shots. Put it this way. about 10 years ago when I was going thru a very harsh break up I had bought some vodka with all the intent on making some kaluah out of it which isn't so harsh. It was a bad night and I had 2 drinks of Vodka and oJ and passed out. It was a horrible time because I dreamed that I did all sorts of things and owed all sorts of appologies.I was so upset at myself the next day and so relieved when my oldest daughter said" Mom, calm down! You had 2 drinks and were funny and went to bed!"

Yes approximately 15 shots.. well that was about two bottles of vodka I guess =p hahaha maybe as we get older we tend to refrain from drinks that's why 2 drinks made you knocked out =) hehehe.. take care sid and God bless =p

well, it all depends... getting drunks largely depends on the ability of out body to absorb that kind of chemical... by the way, you have a nice avatar...

I am not a big drinker at all. And on the rare occasion that I do drink, it is usually something like a strawberry margarita. So I don't think it would take very many shots before I would be on the floor.

I commend you for actually being able to count your shots. LOL. I guess its okay to have a few drinks now and then but I've never been able to count my shots or drinks that I consume. It's not that I can't because I'm drunk, but it's more of because I've never tried. You actually gave me an idea. Next time I drink, I'll try to count it.

Actually I'm not really sure if my count was right.. Hahahah :) approximately it was 15 :) You can do the count too, but beware co'z you might lost your count hehehe ;)

It really depends on how fast I drink my shots. I tried drinking 6 glasses of Red Horse quickly and I go drunk for good. But I have tried drinking the whole night and never got drunk but I don't drink as it straight and I was not in a hurry.

I don't remember, I think it depends on my friends as long as they can buy we can drink, but avoiding it now because of busy schedule
