Do you preview your discussions/comments before posting them?

Do you review your discussions or comments before you post them to check for typos etc.
I don't and then after I press post I see some mistakes and feel like screaming. But I sometimes forget because I have become so used to writing my discussion or comment then pressing post/start discussion after having I quick read through but I often miss errors so I am wondering whether I need to be previwing before posting.
I will be previewing this one...lol
What about you? Do you preview?

Sometimes I preview (especially when I start a discussion) and sometimes I don't...but I have been known to preview a response and still miss a glaring error once it's been posted! Now, THAT'S annoying lol!

Yes very annoying when it is posted and then you pick it up and that is normally when I notice...lol and you cannot do anything about it then. Normally I leave it but it is totally obsure then I post again with the correct...lol

I do not preview mine. I comment and post. If there are a few mistakes, i am sure i will be forgiven. At least everybody can read and understand it, so why worry. I am sure we will be forgiven for our small little misshaps. TATA.

So do I look at the keyboard I can not touch type but I am familiar with the key board so I do not always have to look so that is probably why I make mistakes because I am doing a combination of the two looking at the screena and keyboard simultaneuosly...lol
I read it before submitting but for some reason I still miss mistakes that I would not miss it looking in preview or when it is on the screen.

Most of the time, now. When I spelling something wrong I normally don't see it when I preview either. Of course I see them once I've hit submit, very annoying. Then I miss my edit button :-) Of course, sometimes I also miss a delete button *he he*

The worst thing for me is in I decide to preview then something goes wrong with the net and I have to start all over again....lol

Hello Ros3Taylor me too often do check mine discussions before posting it, me too find many a times mistakes in it.Mostly its all typing mistakes and less of grammatical mistakes.Even some times forget to add up the main content to the discussions.So its wise for me to atleast review mine discussion twice before posting it.Earlier in my discussions there have been lots of mistakes, am still improvising.Well keep it up with your mylotting.

Keep at it I am sure you will get alot better, part of mine is down to the fact that I am not wearing lenses and so I squint alot to review my post and it gets abit tiring. I am sure I will improve once I get my contact lenses.

Yes we need to check our comments/replies before hitting send button.It shows how serious we are in what were doing here and not just to get points when we post comments.
Its not like we just type anything we feel like typing even if its not relevant anymore to the topic at hand.
I dont know how to respond to replies if i post a discussion and i would get replies which really doesnt relate to what i wrote.
Its necessary to maintain continuity.

I would like to preview all my comments but sometimes I do not have that much time on here. I do tend to preview my discussions more to make sure that it is clear and because I have normally written more I am more likely to make mistakes.
But I don't think not previewing it means you are not serious about what you are doing here. Answers that don't relate to the original post is very different to previewing.

Yeah I do that somethings - it is a little typo then I tend to leave it but if it does not make sense or is totally wrong then I will leave another comment.

To be quite honest sometimes i do not even review it and when i finish typing i see my errors. i often just laugh to myself and called myself bad speller. similarly sometimes i preview it and accidentally skip over my errors. i is all apart of life and i do believe that ones eyes can really play tricks on them. also i strong believe that others have and are still experiencing such typing and visual problems as us.

Yes it is really strange because you can look at something many times and still miss an error but there is not enough time to let your comment for a while then look with fresh eyes - we would all be on MyLot for hours and hours just posting a few comments lol

yaa.. but not every time but sometime o saw preview my post's.. i think..it is benifit for us.. because if you make a mistake.. then you will find it in preview and you can correct that mistake..so your posting is more effected by doing this.. and i think nobody find any mistake in your posting.. keep mylotting..

There have been a few times where I have ended up previweing about 3 times because I kept finding mistakes so i may stop previewing and keep poeting and hope that there arent too many mistakes lol

Basically preview is to check mistakes in a discussion, respond or comment. Usuall I do not preview a discussion, respond or comment when I am sure that I have not done any mistate in a discussion, respond or comment. Sometimes I preview a discussion, respond or comment when I am not sure that I have not done any mistake in a discussion, respond or comment.

sometimes i check , but if i already done with my discussion i always just hit the post response and try to view another discussion or topic so i can give again another answer on that particular discussion.

No, I didn't preview it before posting. but I will read trough several times to make sure no problem then I will post it. But sometimes still have some mistakes...some wrong spelling words...but i think it's okay , as long as it wont affect the whole meaning.

Yes I do type fast because I like to read and respond to as many posts as possible in the time I allocate to MyLot because I do not get to go on as much as I would like to I like to spend quality time on here and previewing reduces that. And sometimes I forget to I think sometimes on autopilot and respond or start a discussion and automatically hit post/start.
