Rating people(+/- signs) and marking best responses to your discussions effects other people's earnings, it might even effect your earnings. So how often do you rate a discussion as positive and mark best responses. If you don't i suggest you start doing it. Have a great day and remember...wish other people well and help them and you'll get something in return. If we all just take there is nothing left.

Very well-spoken at the end. Personally, I have never gotten into using the rating system. Does it have that big of an impact? Also, does the rating system have something to do with the star by your name?

Thank you for explaining that. So what does the best response mark do?

I do use it if I feel that a fellow MyLotter really deserves it, like post a well thought-out response or something similar I like the feeling of acknowledging other people's efforts

It's very nice of you to actually think of others two and sometimes it actually feels better to help or acknowledge others than if they acknowledge you. Thanks for your comment.

I always try to remember to rate discussions. I think that it is important to do it so that people know what needs work. I mean if you get all + rates, great but if there are a few - then you have a few things to work on. I know that I have also made a few comments here and there when I come across a discussion that is poorly made or whatnot, I think that a person would like to know when something needs work rather than ignoring it so that no one else helps out. I would like to think that other people would do the same for me too.

Well yeah you are right there... You made me remember my unsolved discussions... Oh I have lots... One of these days I will come and mark those best reponses... About the rating... Well, I don't usually do it but yeah why not, if it would help others

The responder above has reminded me of using the rating system in the responses in one of her previous discussions. I might not do it at all responses that I make, but I make sure that I do with the discussions that I raise. Unless of course if the response is just a one-liner that doesn't make sense. If it helps others increase their ratings, then all the more reasons for me to use it.

I didn't even know that you could rate people and there posts. I guess I will have to open my eyes and look for the rating. Thank you for the information.

I didn't knew about the impact these ratings have on other persons earnings until now. Before now, I used to rate discussions and responses occasionally, but I was still awarding "best responses" sometimes. It looks like I should really try rating posts more often!

Yes, I do rate users. I will rate pretty much everyone except fot where there are lot sof pages and then I won't as it will take to long to read them all and rate them. I only rate the ones that I respond to, usually, but I doi occasionally rate those that I don't respond to, but that is very rare. I think that some users will rate others neegatively because they don't agree, and mylot says that is a no ono, but peopel still do it. It is like they are retaliating because someone diaagreed with them. I think that is so crazy, as rude and petty. We all have a right to our opinion whether right or wrong, and we should all be respected for it as well. If people would respect others opinions, then there wouldn't be as many negative ratings as there are. My rating has dropped, and I am not to worried about it, as it will go back up in time. Someone was just being mean and vindictive is all, that is okay as I still rate those positive who rate me negative. I just can't do tht to others unless they are being rude and nasty, otherwise I just couldn't do that,as it is unfair. Oh well, let them be that way. They are only hurting themselves anyway. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.
