I am sitting here working on my daughter's computer and her desk is a mess. I keep mine nice and clean. Is your desk area a mess or clean and organized?

it really kinda depends on my mood. most of the time i WISH everything was decluttered, but it takes a lot of motivation on my end to actually make the conscious effort to do something about it. there are days where i organize and declutter everything in my apartment and it feels awesome, but then there are other days where i'd like to clean, but it just doesn't happen. so all in all, it just kind of depends on whether or not i want it bad enough. it isn't something that comes naturally to me and it definitely doesn't stay clean and organized.

My desk is neat and organized. Folders are in order and labeled. I cannot start my work day on messy & disorganized desk. I have alot of duties to perform and only 8hrs to complete them.

I like to call it organized disorginazation. In other words to other people it might look messy, but I know where everything is and I have it there for a reason. Actually a sell used books so my desk is often piled up with books, there are sometimes papers, but it is usally mostly books all over my desk.

My desk area looks a mess but I can find anything that I want. In that way I can say that my desk is organized. Everything is not nice and neat and clean. Things are in piles and things overlap each other, but I can put my hands directly onto something that needs to be found.

My desk is only clean when I'm not doing anything, which is during the school holidays. When I do work for school I need so many textbooks and notebooks open on my desk that it just starts accumulating and before I know it, there are piles of books on my desk. But I can't help it because I really need all those books when I'm working, since they contain all the material that I have to master.

well i dont have the desk to myself so i consider myself a fairly neat person but since i share it with other people, it tends to be fairly messy. my kids and hubby tend to use the desk as a drop zone.

My desk is usually neat but now I have clutter on it because I haven't been home and my sister has taken over my room. I have a small desk to wit my computer on it so that doesn't help either...Need to work on getting something bigger!

My desk is currently a mess. I have been trying to get it organized. I am scanning all of our documents into our computer. I've also been working on scanning our pictures to be on our computer. So, once I am done, I am hoping my desk will look nice. I hate having it look so cluttered.

My desk is always cluttered. It seems that if it is neat, I just can not get focused on anything. Like my desk is so clean I have nothing to do, but when it is cluttered, I feel like there is so much to get done.

My desk is disorganized right now because of school. I am in college taking a few courses and so is my husband. With both of us being in school it is hard to keep up with school work and housework. After I am finished with my courses I will be able to go back to a cleaning schedule. I just do the bare minimal, which I know is not good.

My desk is fairly cluttered. That's the way I have to function. If its completely neat, then I feel like I cannot function all that well. I think there has to be some degree of clutter for me to be organized, no matter how little sense that less. When everything is tidy, it just seems like that I cannot find anything that I need to.

I share a desk with my husband so i have little control over the organization level :( Right now the desk looks ok, but the shelving divider where you stack the papers is getting a little out of control. He doesn't file!,doesn't throw away what he doesn't need, he just just collects papers! I can't work like that..gives me a headache/dizzy and anxiety!
