Are Your Feet Soft, Smooth, Crusty or Just Plain ole Rough? Mine are...

Sorry about the rough headline, sometimes I can be blunt and straight to the point. I just thought tonight would be a good feet night. I was just sitting here thinking about my feet out of nowhere and how unique they are compared to other feet. I've seen all types of different feet in my lifetime, and I have to say that my feet has changed at least three times throughout the years. I was born with feet that were soft and smooth as a baby's bottom. Then they lost some of it's softness around teenage years...but still wasn't quite rough yet. Then when I was about 22 years old, the heels of my feet started to get very sore and slightly rough from standing on them all night long on my night job, but there was hope for them dogs...I just soaked them in the tub with epsom salt and quit my job. Ohhh, and by the way, I quit because I was hired at a better job that was closer and paid more money. My feet ain't perfect, but it ain't rough and crusty either..but they ARE clean, smoother and harmless. Thank goodness! What's the status on your feet?

I agree petroleum jelly would be a great help. Sometimes I use that or a heavy cream and lotion. apply them on my feet then, put on a a pair of socks before sleeping. In the morning my feet would be nice and soft again.

I used to have these same problems that you describe but I got the PedEgg and no more! It is wonderful!! You can put vasaline on your feet(after you shower) and then put big socks on over it. Leave it on over night, shower and use the PegEgg. It will take any scaley or hard skin off. It is a great little tool.

thanks for the tip celticeagle, I've never heard of PedEgg, but I'll try it and the vaseline. So where can I find this PedEgg? This would be a good way to keep them smooth.

My feet are horrible No matter how much I moisturize and soak them, they always seem to be really rough. They don't flake with skin, but they aren't a nice texture to feel, that's for sure

Use PegEgg like celticeagle said. Put vaseline on them first and cover with a sock overnight, then put the PegEgg on them.

You should go and have a pedicure if your feet are so rough. My feet are rough sometimes too but my mother gives me a pedicure when that happens. Since I've been wearing UGGs, my feet have been smooth, because it's a natural material. When I wear plastic shoes my feet become rough. I take more care of my feet during the summer because I wear open shoes then.

I get pedicures fairly regularly so my feet stay pretty soft and smooth. I have a Ped Egg and a pumice stone for the times that I don't get to go so that I can keep them from getting out of hand. I also like to get really good lotion and rub it in well and put thick socks on to really help the moisture stick.

My feet have always been tough and calloused since I went barefoot a lot but as I grew older and my feet hurt more I had to wear shoes more often. This winter they are encased in socks and slippers so they are rather smooth. I would much rather have them rough because it would mean my feet felt good!

the metamorphosis u experienced in your feet is normal. mine went through such changes as well. as for how my feet are now, they are not perfect, but they are okay. not rough, crusty or whatever.

Hi, miraclefreebies. My feet are very pretty, from what my husband says. He says that I have very pretty toes. And my skin on my feet is very smooth and supple. I use lotion on my feet and it keeps them very moisturized.

Mine are crusty in winter and smooth in summer. The other seasons they are probably in between. The cooler weather dries my tootsies out even when I use moisturizer. And a little crusty sometimes is much better than the guy in the photo

Mine are fairly soft and smooth. That aside, I am scratching my head a bit as to why I am even responding to this post.
