Have you felt that your heart is so wounded that you'll never be healed? I came to that point because of the loss of a loved one. Fortunately, I have a strong support group consisting of family and friends who helps a lot in my time of grieving. Friends suddenly stop by at our office and bring thougtful presents. Marathon phone calls make me happy and at the same time, bring me to tears. Heart-warming emails engulf my heart and close the distance between friends who are far away from me. How about you? Did you experience something so painful in your life? How did you overcome that experience? When were you able to say that you're finally healed?

I can't say I really know how you feel arystine, as I have not really experienced a loss such as yours. But I think you never get healed from such a thing. And this is not a bad thing. I think the pain, although it subsides will always be there. And this helps makes us human. And helps make us remember and cherish the memories of the lost loved one. Good luck!

Thanks bounce. That makes sense. The pain will always be there but I hope that there will come a day when the happy memories will overcome the sad ones, that it will numb out the pain somehow....

a loss of a loved one is definitely a hurtful experience. it leaves a memory that is difficult to fill in. my loss of a family member is the deepest wound i have experienced so far. getting busy by doing something that i love helped me cope with the loss. i wrote many articles and poems to express my grief and feelings. they made me feel light and unburdened. am i finally healed? i am not sure. i am tested from time to time.

Thanks mensab. I can relate to your story because I also lost a family member. I also consider it as my deepest wound. Just like you, I also try to write about my feelings. All I can say is, let's keep writing and hope that one day we'll finally be healed.

when i met such a thing,i usually just wait. time can cure everything, and als can make us forget all the unpleasant past. when all has gone over,i looked back to the past, and found that all were nothing.
