I just wanted to know how often people change their sheets on there bed. I have this thing where I have to change them once the laundry and dryer sheet smell is gone. That's about every 5 or 6 days. Is this strange? How often do you change your sheets?

Hi benz,I don't set any fixed time to change my bed sheets. It could be a week or a month or more than that Bed sheet would get dirty easier during scorching dry season. If it still doesn't rain we will sweat often during our bed time. The sticky sweat will make the bed sheet to smell disgustingly. Therefore I will change it frequently. I usually would like to change the bed sheet after back from a long vacation. Dust must be accumulated on it.I would feel bored if keeping on seeing the same color and design bed sheet. Therefore changing bed sheet of different color regularly will make the environment of the bedroom to look fresh and vivid as well Have a nice day and happy posting

Hi benz, I'm really happy when seeing my post is selected as the best one. Other than what I have mentioned above I will change my bed sheet on the chinese new year eve to welcome our grand spring festival. If it is affordable I would like to spread a brand new bed sheet on the bed. How wonderful it is if having new bed sheet, new curtain to welcome the great festive days. Normally chinese people like to have most stuffs in red to celebrate chinese new year. It's believed that everything in red will bring good fortune the whole year. I would feel uneasy if staying in room with all kind of stuffs in red. Therefore I prefer to have most things in cool color. And just having some decorations in red color in the sitting room Have a nice day

Once a week. I have flannel ones on now in the winter and they are so cuddly and warm! Funny you mention this tho... of all the things to remember I remember this. I don't care for Oprah Winfrey. However, one time I watched her show for a specific reason.. I thin it was about tips for saving money. ANd she mentioned something on that show that she reuses ziplock plastic bags. I'm going, oh yeah sure you do!!! Richest woman in the country and she reuses plastic bags? She probably doesn't step foot in the kitchen or touch left overs! But back to bed sheets..... she also said she refuses to sleep in the same sheets more than 2 days. She insists on her sheets being changed every other day. I'm going.. yeah, sure you do. you got the maid to do that stuff for you! I'd want them every other day to if someone else did all the work and I had the money to spend on the water/gas to wash them and the extra laundry soap and not to mention the time to do it all!

I change our sheets on either Saturday or Sunday...depending on what's going on on the weekend. I wash the bedspread every week, too, because we have two dogs who sleep on the bed with us so I don't want the bedspread smelling like dog.
