Hello friends, The question for today is do you know what your true life calling is? I just now recently found out what I think mine is. When I found out, it sort of hit me like a ton of bricks because this is something that I feel like I should have known all along. I feel like i have a calling to minister to women and children that are in domestic violence situations. The reason why I feel that I can relate to them is because I myself havne't actually had the easiest life in the world. So many things in life, I went through and I thank God that I"m still here alive today and able to talk about it. I feel an sense of urgency about it that women need to start opening up more and letting it be known what they are going through. Although it's true that we may not be able to talk to everybody, I feel that we should all be able to talk to somebody. Even if you happen to find yourself in a situation, where you feel as if you have noone at all. There are places that you can go. Go to ur local churches and crisis centers and begin to cry out for help. Don't stop until somebody respond to your cry. Try to get some close allies whether it be family members or close friends. It could even be a neighbor. Anybody can be an ally. It's just somebody that will be there for you when you need them. Well, I'm looking back at my title here and I would like to hear from you. Do you know what your calling is. If you do know, please share it and let me hear from you....... Never neglect to help a stranger in need. For it's only by the grace of God that the stranger could be you. In light of the recent tragedies that has hit our brothers and sisters in Haiti. I feel that it's a call to action for all of us to do whatever we can to reach out and to help wherever we can. I recently learned that over 50 percent of their population are women and children. My God, please don't allow them to suffer much longer, open doors that no man can shut. Allow us all to have a heart that is repentant towards you God. Please shelter and help those little ones that are in need. I am praying that if you know your calling, you will be faithful to act upon it. If you don't know it, keep praying and asking God to reveal it to you. Well this is just what was on my heart today. Not everybody can do everything but everybody can do something. whose to say that tradgedy won't strike home where we are?....... Be blessed you all and share ur calling with us here at mylot if you don't mind......... Have a peaceful day.

Hi City, I think i already know my calling..my mission in life. since i was in highschool i was exposed to facilitating and training. until i developed some expertise when it comes to training...i am a trainer both in my work and consultancy job. i know i will be reaching more lives by sharing information and developing their skills in a particular area. i was given the chance to have special kids and as a special mom i have lots of experiences to tell to help other parents cope with the challenges of having special kids.

My calling in life is to take care of children. I've known that it was my calling since I was a small child myself. I originally thought that I was going to be able to fulfill that calling by being a pediatrician, but since I've had two children of my own, I find that it is different than I thought that it would be. I think that my calling in ministering to children is going to be manifested in more of a teaching type of situation. I intend to get a teaching certificate after my son starts school.
