New and Recent?

There is anyone who can tell me the difference between new and recent which is given in the mylot as a tab in the upper side. I didn't find any difference between this. U have a answer than reply me?

'New' lists discussions as they are created. 'Recent' lists discussions that have recently been responded to as well. Quite old discussions may be included in the 'Recent' list if they have had a recent response.
