i dont think it is possible for a human to be immortal and i dont even wanted to be one either. living forever is a very difficult thing, what if you have cancer and you wont die?would you wish that you were not immortal because everyday your cancer kills you but you wont die.ouch! that is one hell of life you got there if you are immortal.

I agree with you. even the science is very keen to do this. but it is not possible it seems. but even if it is possible we are going against nature and definetly it is going to hazard alot. thanks for response.

I don't think being immortal would be a good thing for humans, even if it were possible. The entire world would be different. We already have an overpopulation problem in many countries. If people started to become immortal we would have to stop having children or it would be impossible to have enough resources. Can you imagine a world without children? I would think that to be a very sad existence. Biologically our bodies just can not handle old age and eventually we would start to fall apart. If we were to be worked on to prevent that I would think we would be nothing more than very intelligent robots, as I personally would be bored doing the same thing day in and day out with no end to the monotony in sight. The only positive thing that comes to my mind is that I would have the time to travel the world and see everything I wished to. But once I had seen everything, I would have no dreams and that is something that I would never wish to happen to me or to anyone else.

Thanks for response. i agree with you , i think even the god has decided a limit for every thing. and there is every thing which has its life span, even the earth. i agree with you as when there is no place to live how can we survive being immortal.

I don't really think that it is possible for a human being to be immortal. I have strong doubts about this. Sure, it is possible in books and such, but I just don't really believe that it will happen in real life. Besides, I don't think that it would be such a good thing if human beings were immortal.

well for me it will happen 10-20 years from now. they will invest/discover technological breakthroughs that can regenerate the human body or replace body parts of it. it is just a matter of time that we can surpass the age of 500.

I don't think that immortality would be a good thing at all for the human race. I believe that we were created to have a finite amount of time on this earth and to be here for an infinte amount of time would be difficult if not impossible for a person do deal with. The reason that I feel this way is because the world changes in such a rapid manner that I don't think a person would be able to deal with the changes adequately.

I don't think that a human can be immortal, human are born to be die, it's the law of the nature. Except if philosophal stone exists ^^'. If a human can be immortal so he's not a human.
