I've been out of work for 5 months and feel like I'm getting nowehere in securing a new job or in any of my business projects or ideas. Never to be defeated, today I've decided to re-engage with a new vigour. I'm going to make a long list of tasks and ideas, every possible thought or connection I can come up with and then get to it and stay on it until I succeed. What ideas can anybody offer or what items should I add to the list?

Have you tried affiliate programs? You can try it out. Some are really good, it won't cost you anything but of course you have to give some of your time. They say, that in business you have to invest either your money or your time. So if you don't have money you have to invest your time.

I'm an independent buisness owner with a health benefits company. We offer medical, dental and more. When people call us we process thier apps and make a nice commission, we also earn money when we enroll new IBO's. We also advance in our company and make more money! We also get great benefits like dental, vision, chiropractic, perscription for our entire family. 401k is also an oppurtunity, direct deposit is available once you advance in the company! Daily pay! Full training. I love it. If you would like the link I will send it to you just IM me. It is available in the USA only.

Wow sorry to her athat you have been out of a job for so long but I like your new thrust too find a new job or business venture.Sometimes out of disappointments can come opportunities. And who knows maybe you will be in a better position than you were while you were working. I think one thing you could try would be to tutor kids in some field that you are good at

i actually started my 25 year career as a trainer but giving instruction to adults on IT and in the years that followed that developed into teaching other IT instructors and developing courseware. I enjoyed that tremendously but that was many years ago on a government program in Great Britain. Nowadays I live in the US but I do enjoy teaching and have given that some thought - thanks

I've been wondering where you were as I haven't seen you on myLot in a while! Go with your interests - whatever they might be - as your passion can take you a longer way. I'm a stay at home mom and will continue to be so until my kids are both in school full time - that won't be for another 5 years! And so, I'm taking the time to develop my ideas. I was a graphic artist during my career life . . . but this time I'm planning to work from home. I'd like to gear my art towards some of my most passionate interests as well - and be my own boss 100%. Making a plan is one step foward towards making your goal . . . next step is putting that into action. Good luck with your money making venture!! P.S. If anything, stick with myLot . . . not for the money, but you get some good advice about lots of things here!

good to hear from you again much2say - i took a break from mylot but decided to start popping back for the reasons you mention and to sharpen the tool etc etc I think your advice is sound and am stunned to find at my age that I really don't know 'what I want to be when I grow up' any more. I've achieved many of my goals and dreams in life already and now am working on new ones anyway great to get the conversation going and I appreciate your input as ever

Sell stuff online :) You don't need to rent a space for it. Just put your items online for others to see. And there are a lot of networking sites which can be useful. Or, just make earning money online a business. lol.

i was a VP Sales in my last job and prior to that a Channel Sales Manager at IBM so...sales positions are high on my list but you probably mean more independent, entrepreneurial selling?
