I personally wanted to spend valentines day with my family I never tried it before in my whole life I think its a great way for families to get together and bond just like Christmas and New year its the only time of the year that families get together but how about the rest of the months like January to November? I know their are birthdays also families can bond at that time. Do people prefer spending Valentines day with your girlfriends and boyfriends? How about family? They are the very people that loved you and take care of you from the day you are born the people who loved you for what you are. I just wanted to know now a days do people still spend their Valentines Day with their families or their girlfriends and boyfriends? Cuz I wanted to spend my valentines day with my family and show they how truly I love them.

i dont have a date last valentines day, i just stay at home and sleep the whole day, though i received a call from my ex and its already enough for me since his in London right now. he wanted to give send me flowers and wanted to order it via internet to be delivered to me but i just tell him its better if he can send money instead coz i need it more than flowers lol. and so he did. im just trying to tell him the truth and i dont want to be fake which is really true, since i dont have job right now, i really need money for my expenses.

Yes! We always do it every Valentines day. Not because we dont have dates with boyfriends or whatever, but it is already a sort of family tradition. But this year's Valentines is new for me because even though I still get to spend it with my family, they are actually my in-laws. =)

That's a neat idea! Normally we don't all get together anymore because they all have homes of their own and live further away, so it's impossible because of work schedules and all that. This year we're lucky though, we are travelling to the one daughter and her family's house with my other daughter and family. So for the first time in years we will all actually be together for a Valentines day. I'm looking forwards to it for sure and getting some extra bonding time with the grandkids!! I hope you and your family have a wonderful Valentines day. Enjoy your time together!

I wanted to spend Valentines day with my boyfriend, however being in a slight long distance relationship, this proves not to be happening. I'll get to see him on the Saturday though! So Valentines will be spent with family now.
