forwarding emails

Do you forward a lot of emails? I do receive a lot of forwarded emails though I hardly forward any as I do rarely and only those that I feel are really important and of interest to the receiver. Receiving forwarded emails in bulk are a real problem but I cannot even block the sender as it happens to be friends - what to do in a situation like this? as telling them not to send does not help either - this has become their habit of forwarding everything, jokes, pictures, pp presentation, news articles, family pictures, .....etc!!!

no i dont forward emails. i hate those messages. just tell your friends that you have a new email address.

I tried that too without success because in all probablaties they just forward by "send to all" !! and changing email address is a bother as genuine ones need to be informed too.

Yes, I have the same problem, but my friends and family mean a lot to me, so I don't tell them not to, but I do read every one of them, and I only forward the ones that are really important, or informative! What they don't know won't hurt them! udayrao, I guess that's just what we get , being so 'popular' !
