I like scented candles a lot and I like to light them during evenings, especially weekends. The smell of the candle will take away all the bad odors and fill the whole house with a nice smell. I like to light them after I cook fish at house. My husband hates the smell of fish, but he likes to eat them. Lol. Now, I am collecting scented candles of different sizes and shapes. So, if anybody plans to give me a gift, a beautiful scented candle will be a perfect gift. Do you like scented candles?

I am definitely guilty as charged on this one ... I LOVE scented candles! I think they are great for making the house smell nice after a powerful odory meal like fish as you said. I also enjoy having a hot, relaxing, candle lit bath with scented candles to take my stresses away! I also like using them sometimes after my kids have gone to bed and my hubby and I are cuddling on the couch having "us time" or if we are in our bedroom looking out the window at a rain, thunder, and lightening storm! Those ROCK!

Wow, that is a romantic scene. I like to watch rain through bedroom window, irrespective of the time of the day. It will be really romantic if it is night, with the husband, with lights off, and in a scented candle's light and smell. I like to sit for hours and hours near the window, thinking about nothing. Thanks for the response.

I am happy to be the first person to say you about this. They are not very expensive. You can find a medium one for less than 50 rupees. You can get those in gift shops. There are small ones which will be 20 or 30 rupess. I am sure that they are in the gift section of Mega Mart Store. Hope you will get one soon and try it out. Let me know your experience. Thanksf or teh response.

I believe that scented candle is a nice gift, especially to a woman. My husband also likes scented candles. I like the jasmine flavor a lot. I got some scented candles as gifts from my friends. I got an earthen pot with a scented candle on it, which is my favorite. I got is as a gift on my engagement from my husband's colleague.

Hi Daliaj, I do have a few scented candles at home, I've collected them through time as they seems to be a favorite gift to be given away on any occasions, specially during the Christmas season. However I've never used any of them. I just love looking at them, with different colors and sizes and shapes. I think the reason I don't wanna light them is because I don't want the original look to be altered, we know that when candles melt they tend to be deformed, the colors can mix, and the size, reduced.

I also like to collect them and don't feel like lighting them up. The candle I lighted last week at my house, I had been keeping for more than one year. I can't think about lighting up a candle the next day I get as a gift. I like to keep them for some time and finally light them up. Those candles are really cute and I love to keep them.

Hi Daliaj, The moment i learned about scented candles, i learned to appreciate it and even made a collections of it...different scents and different types. i even attended a training to make scented candles. i love peppermint scent and vanilla. i love citronella too to let go off mosquitoes. i did sell scented candles too. but--when i learned about the bad effects of it in one's health, i stopped buying scented candles instead i use aromatheraphy oil in a burner with smokeless tea light candle. now, everytime i receive scented candles...i add it to my collections but not anymore light it.

I tend to enjoy a nice sented candle every now and again. I find them both rewarding and refreshing. I don't know why, but I tend to be a bit more relaxed when I light a sented candle. Even though after a while I don't smell them as much. I still find them kind of interesting.

It is a fact the the candles are really refreshing. It creates a very divine atmospherem, when you switch off the light and be in the smell and light of a scented candle. I feel that it cleans up or refreshes my house, whenever I light up a scented candle, irrespective of the smell of the candle. Thanks for the response.

I like scented candles, a lot. I enjoy different scents for different times of year. During Christmas, cinnamon is for me! After about two weeks of burning a scented candle nightly, after which the candle sits out in the open until the next night, I love the way my place smells when I come in from being away. I especially like scented candles during a nice relaxing bubble bath. Candle light is soothing and much more so if the scent is right.

I absolutely love scented candles and the effect they can have on my mood. They are mood enhancing whether enjoying them alone in a nice hot bath reading a novel of choice or you using them to get romantic with the special someone. You can never go wrong with a perfectly scented candle. I love ordering candles from Home Interiors and books like that. I find that their scent last longer than those found in my local walmart and such. They may be a bit more expensive...but to me in the end...they pay for themselves because they usually last twice as long as the ones bought at walmart.

yes I do. Espceailly the Yankee candles. They might be a little more expensive but they last a while and they really smell of what they are supposed to. They smell very natural and I think the cheaper varieties can be a little synthetic. I like "foody" smells best like cinnamon and cookie.

Yes, I do like scented candles, but I would not go out of my way to purchase them. If I was in a store and they had a good sale on them,I think that I would stock up on them. I would probably purchase a lot of strawberries I like that scent. I also like the vanilla and honey mellow.
