Can dogs understand our feeling?

Dogs are considered mens best friend .And i do agree to that. And i have a dog before, which act i can't forget ...i was still a kid that time and my Mom scolded me and so I ran to the backyard to where my dog was trying to release my emotion when suddenly , my dog came over with a long face and a soft crying sound and licked the tears running down my cheeks...I was so touched and hugged my dog and I did feel better...have you got an experience of this kind?

I think dogs are far more intuitive than we ever give them credit for. My dog, whom I've had for 8 years now, knows me like a book lol. If I'm sad, depressed, or don't feel well healthwise, she will stick to me like glue and not let me out of her sight. When I had surgery and was sick for a long while, she didn't leave my side. She wasn't a pest or anything like that, she just stared at me with these big sad eyes. She would always lay next to me and be very careful, yet she had to only be a head-pat's length away from my hand. When I'm really happy and excited, she seems to know that as well and respond with lots of tail wagging and stuff.

i think my doggies can understand me well. whenever they are naughty and i become a bit angry, they will stop the naughtiness at once. when i'm happy, they will surely ask me to play with them. but when i'm sad, they will just sit around me with their heads on my lap.

IT is said that dogs have what has been described as a sixth sense. My dog is brilliant in this way but is works both ways as well. By reading my dogs body language, I can ofter understand her emotion as well. For the past five days, I have been really sick. I have been sleeping all day, for four hour bursts. I wake to take my dog out for a walk, social time and so that she can go potty. I am surprised at how well she is responding to my being very ill. She has been entertaining herself. Not bothering me to play or go for a walk that she may otherwise when she feels it is time. Instead, i wake and call her. She comes running and jumps up onto the couch where I have been sleeping in the daytime, she cuddles with me and then is up for going for a walk. It seems that she understands that I am not well at this time and have told her so. This is the first time that I have been on my back sick since I have had her so this is amazing to me. She is a bright little pup. The story that you shared of your dog is similar to one my sister has about her dog, when my sister was a child. Her dog did the same thing when my sister was crying. I have seen my dog react to others emotions. My Mom is often in a lot of pain due to back problems. When we are walking, my dog keeps a close yee on her and waits for my Mom. One day I was with my brothers Jack Russel and my dog. My Mom was really upset. Both dogs sat at her feet looking up at her. I think the dogs knew that she was not feeling so hot. Dog understand alright and are a lot more intelligent than we humans give them credit for at the best of times. I haven't cried since having my pup so I am not sure how she would react.

Understand? No, they lack the conceptual ability to understand a feeling but they can empathetically be affected by them and come to feel similarly all the best urban

Yes, animals, especially dogs are tuned in to human emotion. They will be sad when we are as well as happy or angry. No one can understand why, but that is really the case. TATA.
