What's up with the "Mylot Notifications" about deleting answers to discussions?

I've been getting e-mails from Mylot telling me that my particular answer has been deleted because the discussion was deleted. I think this is a great service and I like the overall idea. What I don't like is that one of the answers to a discussion about the show "House" n got deleted because Mylot said it was commercial, advertising or soliciting. It was a discussion about the show House and the season before last. Nothing about it was soliciting, it was just a general question about the show. And, the discussion was on here for about two years. Here is what was considered "Commercial/advertising/soliciting": Original Post Title: What do you think about this season of House? Original Post Text I wonder how the cop would be able to make House go to rehab, or even offer him that chance? He's not a judge or a prosecutor, so he really can't be making deals. He would be a DA's nightmare. Prosecutors don't like it when a cop gets so involved in a case. They like it when cops gather the evidence legally and cleanly and then they take over the case. How is this "commercial/advertising/soliciting"? So, my question is if we are allowed to post answers to discussions about TV shows anymore? Also, how long do you think this discussion will be up before it's deleted?

I think that the notification service is great. At least you get an idea how much disccussions have been deleted and why. We do not always agree with the administrations if a particular discussion should be deleted or not , especially when there are similair discussions on that line being kept and not deleted.

What I also think is great that there was an administrator on the problem right away. Remember when you couldn't get any moderator or administrator's attention no matter how much you tried? That's a really big improvement!

Hey, that is a good question, but I'll reply anyway just to say hi! I have no idea about the tv shows because I never watch any and therefore am completely unable to understand those discussions. One of my mylot friends devotes 98% of her discussion to questions like "Do you think George will marry Brenda?" I laugh because I don't even know which show she is talking about or, since myLot is international, even what country it plays in.

Unfortunately, when your response is deleted, any credit you got for it will also be deleted. They seem to do a lot of this just before the end of the month right before you're ready to cash out.
