Music and Sports Stars on Prime Time Television

This last week I've been seeing ads that one of the NBA stars was going to guest star on "The Forgotten" (Which I love by the way--Christian Slater back in the limelight) I've also seen one where Rascal Flatts was going to be on CSI. Last week, Yankees manager Joe Torre was on one an episode of Castle. What do you think about these men and women breaking into a new genre?
