No matter how far or how long

My best friend lives in another state. We do not talk everyday, or even every week. In fact, we can go months without talking to each other. However, when we do finally speak to each other, its like old times. We can talk about any and everything. No matter how old we get, we're transformed into the crazy little girls we were when we first met. It is amazing how no matter what, we can still become those girls again- gossiping, sharing secrets, laughing, joking, etc.

The same case is to me. My best friend also live in other state for study. we don't talk everyday. But we are able to make a good relationship between us. Sometimes distance make the relation better..........

I also have a friend who live in another country but he used to live in my country before their family moved to Canada but the problem is we hardly see each others anymore or talk because of the communication boundary. We used to play and together back we were kids and sometime have some fights together, the old times we shared so difficult to forget.... The only communications we have is through Facebook, maybe in the future we could see each other again and talk like old times, hopefully I could go to Canada and Work there and see my friend again.

That's good. Sharing, gossiping and laughing are healthy ways of having jerk with life. Boredom will not sit in and depression is far. It's to connect and be in communion. Continue doing it, while you can still do it.

I know how that feels, because I have 3 best friends that make me like that. It's been quite some time since we met but even if we meet again, we won't act like a long friend, because we believe that a strong relation is growing each day even if you're not interacting with them personally.

I have a two best friends who live in another state. They actually live within a half hour of one another but they do not know each other. One of them I have been friends with only for a few years and she's like a little sister to me. The other one I've been friends with for about twenty years. Just like you and your friend, I do not get to talk to them on a regular basis but when I do, it's just like old times. It seems to amaze me that I sometimes feel closer to them then I do to some of my friends that I talk to on a daily basis. It really makes me believe that absence does make the heart grow fonder. I think it's awesome that you and your friend have a special kind of friendship, just like my two best friends and I do. True friendship is hard to find, and we've both been truly blessed to have found it!

I have quite a few friends who are like that. We were really close for many years, and then they moved far away. Some of them moved 20 to 30 years ago, yet we're still just as close. When we talk on the phone, which is only every other month or so, it's just like we were when we were neighbors. It's like we don't have any distance between us lol. It's great when we can maintain friendships like that. I think too it's easier now that most of us have computers because we can share pictures of our families and things like that.
