I made a pot of stewed chicken. However I forgot that I had put alot of the salt in the chicken to marinate. So on top of that I ent up also putting too much salt in the pot of stewed chicken. It came out veryyyyyyyyyyyyyy salty. I mean it is like eating raw salt. I dont want to throw it away. What do you think I should so with it? Is there any way I can use it to make something else? Please keep in mind that is is extremely salty.

hie, why dont you cook rice and when the rice is about cook, scoop the chicken pieces into the rice pot. dont scoop the gravy as its saltish. alternatively, take out the chicken pieces, minced or chopped them up into fine cubes and fry them with vegetables or even make onion and carrot soup.

The person who posted before me has a good suggestion. It's probably the best way to get the saltiness diluted. If it's still too salty, you can cut a potato in half and put it into the broth -- the potato will absorb some of the excess salt. Other than that, i can't think of anything off the top of my head to cut the excess salt from the dish.

Try turning your chicken into a soup or stew with vegetables. The salt will season the vegetables and broth.

i experienced that also , w marinated the chicken with too much salt and no one dared to eat them so i fed it to my pets instead for a week, it dont have worry if its going to be spoiled because too much salt preserved it haha

add more chicken to cook the stewed sauce, or making chicken salad.
