Hello everyone! It's been a cold day here in Hokkaido now. I just wished to bathe in a hot spring, I really really like to go to an Onsen now. I like to bathe in hot springs during winter seasons and enjoy soaking in the warm water. I prefer hot springs than cold springs because I felt more relaxed on hot springs. How about you, have you been to Hot springs? Which do you prefer, hot or cold? Have a nice day!

hot spring - soaking in hot spring...good for the skin.
We only have hot springs here. It is a popular tourist spot as the surrounding areas remain in its natural habitat. With a small entrance fee one can soak in the pool for as long as one wishes. I love going to this hot spring as it makes the skin feel fresh after coming out from the pool.

Hi zandi458! I've been to Kota Kinabalu last year. I could always reminisce the beautiful beaches, sea waters and wonderful sceneries. I didn't know about the hot spring, I wish I could have been there. Happy mylotting!

Wish we have met earlier here and could have met you while here. The hot spring is located near the highest mountain, Mt Kinabalu. Please inform me if you ever come to KK again. I'll be glad to be your host.

I prefer hot springs to cold springs. One of the most wonderful places I have been is Hot Water Beach in New Zealand. There I made a hole in the sand to sit and then mixed the hot and cold water together that came from the underwater springs. It was a fantastic experience. In the Czech Republic I went to a lovely and memorable hot spring. I found it a very enjoyable experience. The water was delightfully warm and that pleased me. I went to Turkey in the winter time and it was really cold. I went up some white terraces and at the top I found a Roman swimming pool filled with warm water from the hot springs. The air was cold but in the water it was delightfully warm.

Hi max! You surely are a certified traveler! I also want to experience other countries' hot springs. But for now, I'm enjoying Onsens here at my country. You should try onsen too. You would love it.

I think hot springs are more relaxing for a mild day, when it's not to hot... it's relaxes all the muscles, it get's your mind off everything, it's the most relaxing experience ever! But cold springs are the best for those wark days when you just need to have a good time, it's the best for swimming!
