I ever experienced once in my life, where my cell phone was stolen from my workplace. My cell phone was left on my table because i was in hurry to the toilet, when the nature calls. But, when i returned to my desk, to my surprised, my cell phone was not there anymore. I had searched everywhere and even checked with my colleagues but couldn't found it. My colleagues said there are some outsiders passed by my desk, and maybe taken by one of them. When i can't found my cell phone anymore, i quickly called up my phone service provider and asked them to terminate my line temporary. Later on, i goes to the nearest phone center and request for another new SIM card and bought another new cell phone as well. So, that person who stole my cell phone can't call using my cell phone because i immediately disconnect the line.

in case that ever happens, i always keep a lock on my phone (password must be entered to gain access) and keep an application running on my phone that allows me to track it where it is as long as the phone is turned on.

That did happen to me this past summer. I had a family reunion at a local park and the last I saw my cell it was in my hand when I was talking with some family members to let them know I was arriving at the park. Some came out to my car to help unload some food and I never saw it after that. It took several hours before I realized it was gone, the festivities were over and I was leaving. I searched around for it, came home and had a friend call to try to locate it in the house to no avail. I had come home to change after I was at the park earlier in the day because it started getting cool and I had shorts on. Because I live so close to the park, I came home to get pants and a sweater and thought maybe I left it at home, but I didn't. I went straight away to get another phone. I'm soo glad it was a crappy cheap phone. If I lost the phone I have now I would be really upset.

I don't have to imagine anyway.I had the experience of being stolen the cell phone. The following is the solution I took and finally got it back with the help of policeman. Firstly, figure out where and how my phone was stolen. Then, borrow a cell phone from a pessager and call the telecommunication provider to register the loss and the police for help. Next, send a message to the phone to ask for a redemption for a certain price.(It is useless. But occasionally it might work.) After the police's arrival,we took a drive around and back to the police station for case record. After several weeks investigation,I was informed that the police had got back me stolen possession.

Hi there, the first thing I would do if I discovered my cell phone was stolen would probably be to get frustrated with myself for allowing something like that to happen - LOL! After that, I would call my cell phone company to report my phone stolen. I know they would have a way to shut off my current cell phone because whoever stole it either wanted a free phone and free minutes or they wanted all the phone numbers stored on there. I don't know if there's anything they can do about shutting off the phone itself, but I know they'd be able to shut of cell coverage to my former phone. Other than that, I think the issue would be taken care of. Beyond that, I would probably have to buy a new phone, which would be sad and also hard because with so much technology nowadays, I would have to learn to use a whole different phone since they don't sell my brand of cell phone anymore. The saddest part would be that all the pictures and videos I had on there would be gone. I have a way to put them on my computer, but obviously I wouldn't know before my phone was stolen that it was going to happen. My pictures and videos on my cell mostly consist of my adorable nephew and niece and my dog. There are a couple of my hubby on there too. That would be the only reason I'd be sad. Otherwise, I'd be forced to move on like anything else. Great discussion!

I hope that doesn't happen to me, as it is the only phone I have and use and I would be lost without it. I think, I would let Verizon know that it is missing, and have it deactivate3d, so that way, whoever took it can't use it and rack up minutes on it. That would be the best way to handle things, and then I would go where Verizon is and get another ph0one. I am fortunate that I have never had that happen, as I am careful not to leave it anywhere, but this day and age, there are those that will steal one if they can. I hope to always have it and not worry about deactivating it. Take care, and have a very good day.

I've had my phone stolen before. Twice. After I had come to the conclusion it was stolen (after having a panic attack and frantically searching for it) I calmly had my sim card deactavated and went to my local T-mobile store to check on and get a new sim card and phone. Second time this happened. First time I made an insurance claim mistake cost me more then I could afford in deductables. Now I get to happily pay my phone off so I'm good.

The first thing i did when i found out my cell phone was lost was to use my mom's cellphone and called my number. It was answered but the one who got my phone just listened to my voice. I even got to the point of begging the finder to please return my phone and get a reward from me but then all i got is silence from the other line. A few minutes i again called my number but the same thing happened. I went to the service provider to have my sim blocked. I then told myself that i will be lucky enough if it will be returned coz most cases here in our country only a very few times wherein a lost cellular phone will be recovered. Now im nore careful about where i place my cell phone.
