Which TV program do you look at first when you turn your TV on?

Hello Myloters,
Lets share what we watch first when we turn our TV on specially in the morning.
Me, I tend to turn the TV on first thing in the morning on News specially CNN and BBC. Not that its my favorite channel but it helps me learn more English and abcourse keep updated with what is going on around the world. Not only that, because I have different accent from local people in my country I also want it to remain that way and by watching foreign news I notice that I can maintain my accent. Its just difficult to maintain it when you are actually talking in your local language because it seems to twist my tongue when I then talk English.
How about you, what do you watch first thing when you turn your TV on? Whats the reason why you watch that program?

if I wake up from my bed and first I watching Music program.it's can make me have new spirit and face morning with happy,in my country have about three music program shown about local music,almost everyday Im always watching this program.beacuse i love music

Hi Ridwan,
Thanks for the response. Music is really good when you wake up in the morning to left your spirit up, unfortunately, here in my country a lot of people have no respect to other people. What i meant is some neighbors start playing music about 6am and its very loud and what happen is because one neighbor play loud music the other neighbor will join with louder music. Oh boy sometimes you want to trow a rock in there house, and if you complain you finish up with a enemy neighbor.

Well i would watch funny cartoons because to me being happy and cheerful first thing in the morning is very important because you wouldn't want to do the wrong things or make some wrong decisions that you will regret afterwards just because you are having a bad mood in the morning.

HHi Magicwin, That is really good idea actually to cheer yourself up in the morning when you have bad mode. Never think of this before. Will now I know what to do when I am having bad mode in the morning.

Hi Eve301345, as much as I hate to admit it, the first thing I turn on when I start to watch television in the morning is FOX. I just have to know what those crazy Republicans are up to! lol. Then I watch CNN for a bit, mostly reading the crawler for world events. After that I just kinda surf to see what I land on. I usually end up on the Discovery or History channel. God help me but I love to watch the shows about UFO hunters or about Nostradamus! lol. If nothing grabs my attention with those, I go through the various movie channels looking for something I haven't seen a hundred times. When that fails, I turn to the other channels.....WB, Sony, VH1 or the like.

I always tune to pbs first and then scroll through the guide to see what's on in the morning. Usually news and things are on and my toddler isn't patient with me if I put anything else on. But if there's something of interest then I switch.

Basically i watch news channel everytime whenever i switch on my tv to get the latests news of worldwide. I really like to watch news instead of wasting time in other nonsense program...

On weekdays the first thing i watch is Wake Up With Al on the Weather Channel...I love that show...of course its not nearly as good as Breakfast Television on City TV back in Canada but being in the U.S now I can't watch BT anymore

well i always search for the reality shows, because i really like it any kind of reality show i feel very interesting and enjoy a lot.
