Are there any good free places to store documents and other files online? I tried mediafire, and 4shared, but these you have to login every 30-60 days or you lose the stuff you have uploaded. does anyone know of any sites that don't expire?

Every free online data storage site i've ever seen there is some kind of catch. If it doesn't "expire" then the "free options" either limit the amount of storage, or they aren't truly "free". I would get a couple of 8 gb storge stics and that should hold a lot of files. some are keychain size so that's not really that big but they hold a lot.

I do have flash drives to backup my files, but there are a few that I like to keep online so that I can access them from any computer on the spur of the moment when I don't have my flash drive with me.

Not really sure if skydrive expires, but that's where I keep all my files. I've been uploading regularly though, so I haven't had the problem of loosing my files.

Skydrive sounds like a good choice. I have a hotmail account that I use regularly, so I don't think I would have a problem with expiration dates.
