Are you envious with your friend who became wealthy? / myLot

I have a classmate in high school who was not even noticed in class. She was not at all participating in any discussions. In short, she graduated with poor grades. I don't how she did it, but she is now a very successful business woman, owns a beautiful house and an expensive car. Is it her destiny? or does she has a hidden intelligence within her that we didn't see in her when we were both young? Although, I don't admit it, I have this feeling of envy in my thoughts.

of course yes, we cant avoid that kind of feelings. but of course we can atleast be happy for them. perhaps its their luck that bring them there and they work hard for it. and so if we also need to be rich then we must work hard for it too. or since shes a friend then i will borrow some money from her to start business with and ask for her advise.

I don't think I envy them. I'm glad for them but that's different. I think it's bad to envy people. We're all human and we can't help it. But still, we shouldn't do it. We all know what the good book says about coveting. So, if this happened to you don't be jealous. Rejoice! They're your friends after all. You should be happy for them.

Hi cripfemme, I don't think it's bad to envy people as long as you just take it as a challenge to yourself and not doing any harm to anybody. Yes, I rejoice with my successful friend, I am even proud of her. Thanks and have a nice day.

I told sometimes back you need luck I am not envious that my poor friend becomes wealthy. But I wish that she may be cautious not to lose her wealth. You know what comes fast may go away fast too unless you are very wise..
