Do you like your toothpaste taste and smell ? If you accidentally swallow some toothpaste, you will panic, or you just like to swallow, because it mint? I have a friend that when she was pregnant, she likes to eat toothpaste, very little of course, but she said it is delicious and makes her not to have nausea from pregnancy. when I was pregnant, eat only vanilla ice cream all night, my stomach hurt but I still eat, but I never ate toothpaste. If you accidentally eat some toothpaste you are panic or think that it is not toxic?

My friend's daughter who is only three years old like the taste of tooth paste. She likes to eat it and her mother should be very careful when she brushes. I am okay with the taste of the paste because we have it in mouth only for a short time. I value the refresheness after having a good breshing and the good breath. I won't eat it.

You should never swallow the toothpaste, accidents do happen and in small doses they won't do much harm, but doing that regularly you could have problems. There was a report on a man that used to swallow toothpaste after every single brushing, which he thinks is good for him. He did that about a few years, and latter on when he got checked up by a doctor, he discovered he had stomach cancer, and it was due to swallowing too much toothpaste. All the fluoride accumlated through the years had caused the problem, and most toothpastes have fluoride, something poisonous if consumed in large quantities. Look for the warning label on toothpaste, although in small print they do warn you against swallowing it, so be careful.

I like the taste and smell of my toothpaste but i am always very careful not to swallow it. However there is one toothpaste which i have used sparingly and only sometimes since it is 10 times more expensive that the average toothpaste. the reason is that this one contains a special medicine made out of a rare breed of red mushrooms which are available only in Malayasia and China. These mushrooms are processed and the medicine is extracted from them and the toothpaste is made out of them. One can even swallow this toothpaste since it works like a medicine and cures any internal problems. This mushroom known as Ganoderma is now used in making not only toothpaste but also tea, coffee, cocoa, soaps etc and all of them do healing to the body and are now used all over the world. This is one toothpaste that you can swallow and be cured of any ailment you have. For more info send me a pvt message.

I only buy toothpaste that I like the taste of. I find that most of the minty toothpastes taste the same - so as long as I stay along the minty line of toothpastes I am fine. I would never eat toothpaste though. I do believe that there is a warning on the box for if you swallow more than a little bit of it. I could be wrong though.

If one's psyche accepts body obeys sooner or later. If an action stimulated by the psyche against the acceptance of your body health you alone are responsible.

I can tolerate it, but I'm not exactly going to be going out of my way to swallow it or anything.

Well, depends on the toothpaste. The ones for kids are tolerable, it comes in a variety of flavors. Yum. But adult toothpaste may contain a lot of Fluoride and other ingredients that may affect body conditions so it is best to use the product as indicated. I don't like the taste of my family toothpaste although I can tolerate it, I just use it anyway because of its cleaning ability and it really removed some stains that I don't have to do oral cleaning through my dentist.

Hi Icesmile, I like my tooth paste but I do not swallow it. We are not suppose to swallow tooth paste. Your friend ate tooth paste when she was pregnant? Some pregnant women crave strange things. But tooth paste isn't good for you to swallow it has some antifreeze in it. Not good on people to swallow it.

We should not intake our toothpaste because it post some danger to us. Toothpaste almost all of it contains flouride. That is why I stopped using toothpaste with this content. Yes it is very effective in taking out tooth decay and helps whiten our teeth. But there are hidden danger's from flouride. First if we say flouride, if we came from an industrial people point's of view. Flouride is a byproduct or (waste) of Aluminum, Steel, Glass, Cement. It's the by product of this industrial products then they put it in our toothpaste? Our body can only intake so much flouride before it reacts with our bodies biological processes. It may not be that will be affected but our son's and daughters that will have some deformation or desease. you can read this article from (http://thyroid.about.com/cs/toxicchemicalsan/a/flouride_3.htm) Please warn your relatives about this.

Hallo...I do not think that toothpaste is toxic,it is made to put inside the mouth, so it is at least not a poison. I wont be panic when swallow a bit of it. But I also will not purposely eat the toothpaste, it is not something to eat, I just think that it will not have a good taste. But my little daughter also likes to eat toothpaste, if you ask her to brush her teeth, instead of spitting the water out, she will swallow it. Sometimes she will lick a bit of the toothpaste before brushing her teeth. At first I thought it is abnormal, later I just relieved after I found out from other friends, that their children do the same.

Yes, I like the minty taste of my toothpaste. The after-brush makes me feel fresh and clean. However much I like my toothpaste, I will not eat it, not even a little of it. It contains fluoride, and if we ingest too much of it, it's going to be fatal. I have never accidentally swallowed toothpaste, but if I do, I think I will try to vomit it out or drink lots of water to wash it out of my digestive system.

icesmile if you read the ingredients in it you really really would not want to eat the stuff,it can make you ill. I detest most tooth pastes as they are so strongly flavor they hurt my mouth. I try to use bens natural toothpast made with baking soda and no other chemicals. the mint flavor in most toothpastes is just too too strong for me. yuci.
