what can you do in thirty seconds... if you save it?

In another discussion we were discussing slipping on shoes rather than to tie them. I think we decided we'd save at least 30 seconds a day. (15 in the morning and 15 in the evening) So I started thinking what can I do in that extra 30 seconds? I thought of a couple of things I could do with 30 seconds. -stay in bed that extra half minute -post a response to a discussion -stop and enjoy a flower -brush my teeth a little longer so what can you do in thirty seconds?

- Take a 30 seconds break (LOL) - Rest my eyes for 30 seconds - Send a text message - Have more time to think - Eat an extra cookie - Cuddle my dog well they might seems pretty silly alnswers but that's what I'm thinking of and since I slip my shoes both times I had 30sec extra to reply to this question :P

haha yes I wanted to write also " maybe two" but I guess that if we eat them fast enough to take 10 sec then we can have 3 cookies :P

Take 30 seconds to say a kind word to a stranger, cast a smile and make the world a brighter place. Take 30 seconds to tell someone special to you that you love them and that they are important as you never know when you will not have that opportunity again. Take 30 seconds to help out a friend by listening to them. Sometimes a friend needs a sounding board and those few extra seconds may be exactly what they need.

Very good suggestions, sleepy! Those are all very valuable things and each would only take a portion of the thirty seconds! That leads me to another thought...that it doesn't take that much time to be kind!

I think I might spend thirty seconds thinking about what I might do in those thirty seconds. Now, more seriously, if I am writing something, I might be able to add on a couple more sentences than I would have, had I not had those thirty seconds. I could spend thirty more seconds on this website as well. You would be surprised of all the times that I wished I had just a bit more time and would be able to pace myself just a little more. Thirty seconds might now seem like a lot but it adds up fairly well. There is just these little extra things that could add something to my life. It might not be much but at least its some time back. That's better than nothing.

Thirty seconds is too short to do something but anyway I was thinking about something and I came up with a very simple thing that I always do everyday and that is to send my family a text message to say hello to and ask how they are. I think I'm really fast at texting.

hi! the second thing about the discussion is not possible to me, because 30 sec. are not enough for a good response . i think in these 30 extra seconds I can only think about that, what can i do on the next day, so that i can use them better than today

That's a good discussion! - I would have a little bit more time to prepare myself for school in the morning. - I could stay in bed thirty seconds longer. - I could just have a quick rest, stretch myself and give some rest to my eyes. 30 seconds isn't much, but in situations when every second counts it can actually make a big difference.

That's as long as the longest TV commercial. I can take a pee and not miss the show, or I can change that quickly. Thirty seconds is long enough for one to wash up very quickly---splash water, soap, rinse---all for 30 seconds. I've done that.

Enjoy the chirping of birds on the trees. Smell the flowers. Thank God for life.
