my son is 3 years old. i feel so lucky to have my son, even he just get one love from me, but he's very independent. if i was sick he took care of me and look so worried about me. when i will go to office, he said that "please dont go mommy, i dont have friend here." and i said " i have to go son, because i worked to get money, to buy you milk, play, etc." Then he go to his room and took imitate money and gave to me, then he said "mommy shouldn't work, this is money for you. now lay down with me. we watch television together." Oh my GOD, i can't say any word, i just cry and hug him. he's the light on my life. So mylotters, share your child do that make you more love him and realize that you are so lucky to have him

I too love it when my daughter out of the blue hugs me and kisses me and tells me she loves me! It's too darn cute! Kids that age are so sweet and I'm enjoying every second of it because once they get older they won't be like this anymore!

I am still single... (not married I mean) hahaha, single should be followed by that open and close parentheses nowadays hahaha... I don't have any of my own except my niece... about 8 months... she is the daughter of my big brother... I agree with you, because she is an angel... that brings happiness... peace... and light.... I think few moths from now she could stand by her own... she is so cute... I love my niece so much... and I am praying I am in a good condition to have my own... (just afraid to go to the doctor).

Hello, I know I am not supposed to take part in this discussion as I don't have a child and I don't have any future plan to get married. But ohh dear, I just couldn't help it. It just reminds me of my mom. Nophie, you are so lucky to have such a wonderful angel. He loves you so much. I have been told once that God actively stays with children of ages below 5. You know why? Because, their love is so untarnished, pure and valued. Your son is truly your light. The image of Mary holding Jesus in her arms is clearly being visible each time I am reading your discussion. I am so overwhelmed. God bless you princess

There is nothing like having a baby to a mom.She conceives the baby for months to bring him/her to light.I'm not married and being a male I'll never have this divine opportunity to conceive a baby like you,but you know,I understand that it takes a lot to make a baby grow up.The truth is that kids like me.When I came back from office there is a little girl plays around. Her mom is busy studying and her dad teaches students in batches all day long.So she comes out with the maid. When I catch her eyes she giggles and runs to me with her small steps spreading her hands. It's all like having my own child, you know, when I pick her up from the ground. But the worst part of my journey from office to home is,when I leave her.She just cries and throws her hands off when her maid tries to hold her back stopping her from running to me.But I couldn't help, because it's not my baby.I just pray to God someday I just have a baby like her. Thanks Nophie to make me remember her smiling face.

Nophie, I am still single and I don't have a child of my own. YOu know as I read your discussion I was touched of what your son did to you. He really really loves you and you are his light too. I am happy that a three year old boy can take care of mommy when she is sick, you should be proud of him. If only you can attach him on your body so that you are together while you are working, I know you will do that but unfortunately that can't be. I know he is the one that can only make you happy during the saddest day, just continue to be a great part of him, continue to love him. YOur child is the greatest gift you ever received from God.

hi nophie my son is an adult now but reading your sweet discussion made me remember him at ten. I had just come home from the hospital after a haemorrhoidectomy and was full of pain pills, so laid down to take a nap. My son on his own swept the kitchen and vacuumed the living room, and I heard him answer the door. My moms asleep so come back later. I wanted to laugh as it was my mom and sister come to see me. but I did pretend I was asleep to see what would happen. My mom was irked but they went back and came b ack later. I felt so proud of my little guy' then. wow. now hes fifty. Today I did feel a little irked as he did not come to see me, but hes been so good coming every week to see me here. ours is a long story wont bore you with it b ut we are looking forward to better times, he and I.

Your son is very sweet kid. I hope if I would also have my own kids they are also going to take care of me. I dont have kids yet but I have nephews and we also consider them the light of our lives. Kids are blessings. I know that when a couple is given a child, it is a very great responsibility and God gave that soul for you to take care of. You and your son are blessed to have each other.
