i wish to have a garden wedding with just my family and friends, i choose garden as it closed to nature and i feel that everyone whom i never see can see me including god in heaven as its out door of course. i know church wedding is also good but i dont think i can do that while im already have a child out side wedlock and for me wearing white to face god means the girl is still pure.

I don't think it matters. Do what you want to do the most. If you are married by a clergy you will still be taking an oath before God. If you are a believer, anyway.

I had my church wedding two years ago. Here in the Philippines, Catholics are encourage (maybe required) to get married in a church. But garden weddings can also be as solemn as a church wedding. It's all about the sacrament, the celebration of your union.

i would love to have a garden wedding. it is because i want my guests and everybody around to enjoy the fresh air and nature and flowers. i think all wedding ceremony are holy for as long as it is made out of love. if we could remember, adam and eve doesn't have a formal wedding but in the sight of God they are made holy as one. so i think that's the important thing there. it doesn't matter what venue your wedding is being celebrated for as long as the couple is bind with love for each other.

Being a Catholic, church wedding should be the right kind of wedding for me, but I want something more exciting so I would have 2 weddings. I want a church wedding for the blessings and the sacrament and a garden wedding just to do what I want as well. I would love to wear a simple gown, a white with red lace gown while my husband would wear a black suit. Guests would wear anything they want :)
