I am getting so Discouraged :(

Now I am a pretty Optimism person. I love life I really do. And I understand that you can't have the good without the bad. But, man I am to the point where I just don't know any more. Now years ago when I was young and dumb I done some really bad things and I understand that Karma is Karma. For the last 5 years I have been living on what you call the good side of life. Being a prodoctive person. I work full time I am a part time college student. I am a good parent. But, does the bad just keep coming will I ever stop getting paid back for the bad I done. Now mind you I dint do nothing really bad. But, it was bad enough. I have been living in this hell hole of an apartment with a slum landlord that wont do nothing for almost 5 years. I got a call about a month ago that I was apporved for section 8 housing. I was thrilled. But it will be about 4-6 months before I get it. This morning I a woke to a great big sign on the front of my apartment building that stated the building had been condemned! Yeah I knew it was coming but man it couldnt have waited till I was able to move. Now here I am faced with haveing to move within the next 30 days. With no money saved up. We struggle every day to make it. We are honest and work hard. I just dont know what to do. I got on the phone and started making phone calls to see if the landlord was responiable to help with the cost of moving and no he is not. So I called our local Community Action. I dont not have family I can stay with till I get my section 8 and all the homless shelters are full. I pray every night but, man I am so discourged. What is there to really do. I am doing every thing I can just to pray that it all turns out for the good.

Sorry to hear about yous plight at this time. Prayer is good and we know God listens to all prayers. Now give him something to work with. Keep your thinking cap on and explore all possibilities. Mention your situation to all you meet. We never know where the answer will come from. Have you tried different church groups and see what help they might offer. Have you tried the newspapers, the radio, television, ect. keep at it! Something will work out!

Yeah, I think I have been thinking to much lol My head hurts. I am exploreing all possiblilities trust me. I do have a few listing on the internet for the help. I am just going to keep on going till I figure it out. I just hope its in time. And for sure I am going to keep on prayering.

Good! What about Red Cross, WMCA, Fire Station, Police. Someone has the help you need. Do you live in a big city or small town?

Are there any charitable organizations that help the needy in your city?

I know that it gets too hard... You thought that good things are coming and another good things comes next. I think that we are not given problems that we can't solve. Just don't give up, I know the time will come that you will live a life with no worries.. Just lift it all up and it will come soon.. "keep fighting"

I really dont have the choice of giving up. I have my kids I have to stay storng for and make everything work out. I just hope I dont let them down. I just know I am doing the best that I can do at the moment!

I am so sorry that this is happening to you. Do you have a friend that you could stay with if they do make you leave. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I hope you can find something.

I am sorry to hear about your situation and I am sorry if I can't give you advise on what to do. But I just want you to know that all bad things have an ending just keep holding on. I pray for your strength.

I'm sorry about your misfortune at the moment, if only I could help you and let you stay at my place, I really would. But I'm living in a different country. All I can give you are my prayers of good health and strength to make you string enough to pass all of that. Just always think that there's always a light at the end of the tunnel and just also think that dawn is just a second away from the darkest time of the night.

I keep telling myself that God doesnt give me problems I cant handle. I only hope this is not one of those moments when I am getting paid back. I love my family and will do everything I can to keep them together. I hope and pray everything works out.

I feel your feelings dont get annoyed you must do your work sincerely and honestly

Congratulations on getting the section 8 housing. That is hard to come by for a lot of people in some areas of the country.
I will pray for you, and hope a friend or someone will give you shelter for a bit until that unit comes through. Have you tried calling churches in your area for some help?
