For me a verbal wound hurts more than a physical one.We can easily forget a physical one,but a verbal wound takes a long time to heal and erase from our mind.

Hello verbal wound is much more painful than the wound you get on your body, it takes years to heal but reappears as soon as you see the person who gave this thanks for the post bhuwan

of course, verbal wounds will still linger on your mind and heart. physical wound will just leave scars. for me, words are life knives. it can make or break somebody's heart and mind. it is very important to watch and think about the words we say.

Hi...sreejith I can not tolerate the verbal assault. As you told I may forget about any physical assaults. I have a real experience in this regard. I was so close with one of my cousin brother and for some reasons we had a quarrel and he abused me verbaly. This happened some twelve years back. But till today I avoided him . I cannot forget the insult. He canme to me many times, but I dont wanted to take a chance with him.

It would hurt me more to hear people say crazy things and bad things about me, and if others would verbally accuse me of something which is not true, rather than getting physical injuries. If we are targeting other people's emotions and feelings, it would take time to forgive because what we're doing is putting their self esteem, dignity and integrity to go down.

No doubt, verbal hurts more than a physical wound. I got some bruises before and it all healed and the pain isn't their anymore, but with some of the harsh and too candid words that i have received before are still there. Sometimes occurring suddenly in my mind and makes me remember. It pains to think of those words but sometimes it just really strikes you the most especially when you know it is true and/or if the person who said those words is important to you or means a lot to you. But then how hurtful it is to think of it, life must go on! ^^ Moving on is a process. ^^

The most hurts is the feeling. Its hard to heal the wound of a feeling rather than the physical. Physical would can easily heal. Yes, I know its hurts when we have physical would but it hurt only one time in our body. and It can release it suddendly after the climax of pain. But the Feeling is not the same. Some people bring it till their lifetime. Until they accept the facts or failures.

Hi sreejithsreenivas,I agree with you, verbal wound is so painful than physical wound. In physical wound we can immidiately find medicine to ease the pain, while in verbal wounds will take enough time to recover because it can't be cured by pain reliever.Have a nice day.

I hurt more by verbal wound then physical wound...because it has a reason it is possible to cure physical wound but the words which penetrate hearts may be last for ever...or very difficult to cure it...have a nice day...

Its quite obvious that verbal wound that hurts more physical wound stays only for small period of time but the verbal wound stays with us till we die.The impact of verbal would is more when comapred to physical wound.
