How did you feel when you vote?

Hi every one, i know it would have ben great feeling of casting vote for the country, feeling we are contributing in country development and progress.
i want to know your feeling and experience of casting your vote which can inspire to cast there vote in any election say muncipal corporation, assembly, parliament or senate..
so please share your experience , remember your experience can inspire to vote

well i have voted when I thought it would make a difference but with all the expenses scandal here in uk at the minute
and all the europe mep's (incidentally I don't really want the UK in europe).
I have stopped voting as no matter whcih party gets in they are effectively the same as each other and will do something totally different to what they promise to do.
So I have lost faith in the voting system and if I did vote I vote prob vote for the UK Independance party as the main stream parties are mostly crooks and not interested in what average joe public want.

In the last several elections I've made it a point to vote because that way I feel like I am doing my own civic duty. Does it really make me feel a particular way, no, not really because we never truly know if the politicians that we vote for are going to act in the way that they've promised that they will. However, in voting, we can't complain about the way that the politicians behave if the ones that win are who we voted for, but I feel that we can complain if the people that we voted for don't win the election.
