Mylot's Search The Web is not very good!

I do not ever get any results at all when searching the Web (this seems to depend on which country you are in) and the discussion results are 'patchy', often giving results from very old discussions but no recent ones (where I know there should be results). I know that this feature is still in development. GoAskAlice has been asking for details of how it performs for people, so I'm sure that it's actively being worked on and I have every expectation that it will improve as time goes on. The good thing about it is that the more you use it, the more likely you are to receive rewards of a few cents a time.

hi! I really think that the Mylot search box is only for the site content, which means we are only searching here on the site MYlot, and nowhere else. i ma of course not sure, but I haven't also find anything that I was searching for a couple of times. well, maybe it is still not integrated with the web and there must be some updates. who knows? :)

I find sometimes the results are patchy or non existent. When I use other search engines with the same search terms I get equal or better results. I got a warning message once and now get no rewards, so it is not much use to me any more. The problem is I was not getting the results I wanted so was trying again, so I guess I tried to many times in a row so got cut off rewards, at least that is what it looks like.

i use mylot search especially for searching the discussion. i have searched some site and i found it. but now i rarely to use it. nice post.
