Does your car have its own name?

Our car has a name of its own.
We have always named our cars.
When I was little ,my cousins car was called Jemima and every car she had since was named.
I thought everyone named their cars until I mentioned to my friend what my cousins newest car was called and she thought it was unusual to give a car a name.
Is your car named like everyone else in your family?
Does it make it harder to say goodbye if you sell it on?
Our first car was called erbert,can you remember your first car?

I guess not everyone wants to name their inanimate objects LOL.
Even my computers have names.
This one is Bowser and the desktop is whizzo the whizz.
Hubbys netbook is little zippy.
The spectrum was called speccy and the amiga was the old miggy.

My car is affectionately known as The Little Red Wreck. It's a Vauxhall Corsa, used to be flame red but has faded a little over the years and needs a good going over with TCut and a polish. The name came from a comment a friend of mine made when she first saw the car, and the nickname stuck

We have a red vauxhall corsa too.
Ours is called Aquilla after a kids TV program, as the body of the car is rather like the shape of their little space ship.
We used to have a Datsun sunny when we first got engaged, it was a very similar size and bright yellow, that one was called 'erbert'.

I think that it's cool to name a car or any other vehicle owned personally for that matter. I'm thinking of naming my bike something cool and related to my likes. If I had a car, I'm going to name it, too. I'm going to ask for my girlfriends suggestion for a name and we'll try to come up with something we both can relate.

My bicycle is called Claude,because it i a claude butler bike but that isn't very original.

I never named my cars but my current one is called Tim. I bought it from a dealership called Tim's in Arizona and my son removed the "'s" from it so there is "Tim" on the rear of the car. It's a very common car and a common, boring color so when I see it parked next to a similar car, I just look for Tim and know which one is mine.

We had a tim too.He was a most unreliable car as we would often break down in him.
The suspension was awful, my sons friend(about 7 years old) likened it to riding in a boat.

My car's name is Sky, because it is a blue colour KIA FORTE, my hubby loves it like his second wife oops....
