Hi, I found this new survey site and was wondering if anyone here had ever signed up and gotten paid from them...their payout is 1000 market points which upon further questioning-amounts to $50. So can anyone here tell me anything about Global test market? Thanks and Happy Monday!

I have reached payout at GTM once and received the cheque in the mail. It does take some time for the cheque to reach me and for it to be cashed, but the fact that they do pay is important to me. If they were to pay via Paypal, it would be great, then I need not have the cheque converted in my currency. I can leave it in my Paypal until the exchange rate is better. But I will just accept the situation right now as it is.

I used to have that problem, having little time due to work. But now that I'm not working full-time, I make sure that I complete all the surveys they send to me to make my points increase faster. I'm 90 points away from cashout!

Thanks for responding! I also like to get paid by paypal-it's faster than waiting for the check to clear. I jointed global and only have 120 points so far-but I haven't been trying as hard as I'd like..time has been limited.

I used to be on Global Test Market. When I was on 1000 points was $5, and I reached that amount several times. Did that amount actually change to $50?

It took a while just reaching $5 before. Unless they changed the point system it will take forever to reach $50.

Yeah it's now $50 from what I saw...I kinda feel like that's hard to reach-but I guess it depends on how many points each survey is worth too.

That's strange...maybe you have to complete a profile or something..a lot of sites require that...I'm not familiar with global yet though-just seeing what others have experienced.

yes you have to make sure you complete the profile surveys on the site or else you wont be mailed any surveys

I've been signed up to GlobalTestMarket for a while and have reached payout twice in the time I've been with them. I'm no longer that active as I've noticed over the past couple of months, they've gone downhill somewhat. For instance, several of their surveys don't seem to pay as much as they used to. There are also a lot of sweepstake entries floating around rather than the usual marketpoint system.

I agree. The sweepstakes sooooo do not do it for me either.

I've noticed that greenfield/toluna and surveyspot have converted to those "sweeps entries" and I feel that they're not really worth my time. I've never known or heard of anyone winning. We want $ not entries! :)

Me too, that's why I'm making sure that every company is trustworthy..there was one about a year back-I worked my way up to payout-which was $100-requested payout and I never got paid..then a week later, the site vanished off the internet entirely! I emailed the support and it was returned as undeliverable...they had made away with all my time and hard work!

I have been a member of globaltestmarket.com for about 2 years now and yes i have reached their payout and although it took almost 2 months to recieve my check i did get it and cashed it with no problems but recently they have made it harder to earn points and now i dont find it nearly worth the money. they only give you about half as many points per survey now as they used to :/

I joined a few weeks ago..I have only qualified and recieved 85 points...a looong way to go but maybe it'll be worth it :) I had gotten nervous because I'd read on a website that somone had trouble cashing their check because it was canadian..I decicided to give it ashot anyways. I noticed a lot of companies are paying less for longer surveys these days...what used to be $3 for 10 minutes is not $3 for 40 minutes

I have been a member with them for about 5 years and have reached payout several times. They are one of my favorite companies to do surveys for. Suprisingly you will reach the 1000 points very quickly and they mail the payment when they say that they will. I am nearing payont once again and cant wait to have an extra $50.00 to put in my savings. Good luck! :)

Thanks for sharing...I've been hearing more of them-there's so many sites out there...some aren't legitimate..I am glad to hear of one that is.

I am a member and i have in the last 2 weeks asked for payout as i got 1000 points and they did say on the site that it can take up to 4-6 weeks for the cheque to arrive and i am in the uk.It did however seem to take forever to get to the 1000 points, but i got there in the end.I do not do all the surveys that they send as i do not get the time, but i will try to when i get the cheque that way i know that i am going to get paid in the future.

Wow, that's pretty crazy...I know that with several other companies I've requested payout, and sometimes it takes a month processing before they even mail it out. Now that's annoying-knowing you finally got there and then playing the waiting game!

Global Test Market is good and in fact one of the top 10 legitimate sites according to the survey police website.I've been a member with this panel for about 1 year and have been paid for my opinions. However, I'm a bigger fan of Mindfield Online because you don't have to earn points, you just receive cash. :)

I was just wondering about them as they are a canadian company..I"m in the US...and I'm not sure about that point thing-that's wierd for a survey site..although toluna recently convereted with greenfield and now uses points...and surveyspot followed suit. Mindfield-a great site! I've made over $142 this year with mindfield online-although it's become much harder to qualify as more and more people have found them! And they changed to a minimum payout of $5-where 5 years ago-you could request at a dollar.

I am also a member of Global test market but I haven't been so lucky I can't reach 1000points because usually i don't qualify in to their surveys. I am at around 500 points and have been a member for about 3 months.

I did tried the global test market survey. I got my first payout last May. They send me a check of $50 after I reached 1000 points. But you have to wait for them to send you their survey.
