Well, born into a well educated family, I was born into an atmosphere where marks and overall development mattered! I always bothered about my marks when I weas in the 8th and before that and I used to get about 95% but, now I do not bother about my marks in my tenth grade !So, I am trying to tell that marks are something that can get you literally nothing!

I don't really describe myself as someone who would be easily bothered by marks but I try to be better because I'm the eldest and that I don't really want to disappoint my parents.

Oh! I do not think you live in India! Here, children are made to read a lot and as a result, we have the most educated ones well at least not in literacy rate but in the number itself!

Wow! It's good that children are made to read. It'd makes one more knowledgeable aside from knowing the basics.

I don't think we should be botehered by them, but one need to keep an eye on them, just to make sure, they stay as they are or better. Just don't give it slack. TATA.

Yeah, I have now detoured my brain to this exact stage as you described but back here in India, tenth grade marks are hell important!

Then you better make sure that they stay at the highest or there will be trouble. TATA.

Marks...no never...it only matters when these are to be presented later on for some jobs stuff kinda... Else i donn consider marks to be anything...if you have knowledge then you have everything..Marks aint necessary to show one's potential.. But here in India..Marks and qualifications are kinda most important, which sometimes makes me to argue with my elders.. I guess i am luck..i always get good marks...atleast what i expect..and even if i get bad marks then i dont get sad or try to kill myself or the teacher...lolz...i plan for the next tome...

It has been many years since I've been in school. However, when I was a student, I liked to achieve, so I did always stress over the marks that I received in school. I wanted to always be the best that I could possibly be and that is the reason that I was constantly pushing myself in a tough way. It is because of the fact that I always put everything that I could into my education that I was able to attend the college of my choice with an academic scholarship. I think that you should put everything that you can into your education so that you will be able to achieve great things in your life.

Well i never bother as i know it will really pressure me up and make me lose my confident. I dont like the eduacation system of marks ranking our knowledge. Marks dont have any thing at the time of our profession, we will do some job with our talents.
