i got up this morning to the entire yard.. gone. vanished.. comepletely underwater. i felt like i was living in a house boat (see pic attached of what used to be the driveway) the kids couldnt get to their bus without swimming lessons... i watched my man get into his truck via the roof... and alert phone calls have been coming in throughout the day of bridges being washed out, roads closed and warnings to not be on the move unless absolutely necessary. my little town is pretty much .. an island. shut off from the rest of the world. fun fun. theyre saying the sun will resume its job come the morrow.. one an only hope. ever been in a storm that just wont seem to go away? tell tell .. share share..

That's lot of water. It's much worse when there was a typhoon here in my country. Good thing were not included in it. I wish you the best and have fun. We are experiencing el nino and it's very rare that we get rain. You had a whole lots of it.

Hi, tessah. I am so sorry that your town and family is experiencing this. It sound as if you have a drought that has taken place. I hope that the sun dries up all of this water. We had an Hurricane many years ago called, Hurricane Hugo. This was the worst storm ever. It came and stayed for the entire day. We have not had any other big and powerful storms since then. I do hope that things will get better for you. This is not a fun and safe predicament to be in. I hope that the people in your town will stay safe and your family too. Please be very careful and take care of yourself and your family too.

Wow, that must have been some rainfall you've had! Hopefully the sun will shine for a few days and evaporate that water so you can have your yard back and things can get back to normal. We've had a few freakish storms in this area too. Looks like the weather will continue to make the news in the days ahead in many places as they face unusual weather.
