This idea came from the fact that I am going to college online and was thinking about how much student loan debt I am going to be into by the time I finish my business degree. So I would say when all is said and done I will have about 20,000 dollars in student loan debt. What about you? I had a student loan from when I went back in 2005 and had that paid off about 2 years ago. I had about 1500 in debt than and it took me almost three years to pay off that student loan. So let me know friends what kinda of student loan debt are you carrying?

It's only my first year of college but I already have a three thousand dollar loan taken out. It's a subsidized loan so the interests wouldn't rack up until I finish school but when I think about having to pay back that much money, I get freaked out. I'm probably going to need ten years or more to pay back all my loans after I finish college but I'll worry about it when I'm actually out.

I am trying not to worry about my student loan debt however I know it is there. I think that it is good that I can borrow money to get me through because I have no outside job at the moment however I know that I have to pay the money back and that places a little worry on my shoudlers. Thanks for the response happy mylotting to you.

I currently have over $20000 in student loan debt. I just began repaying my loan a few months ago but I have officially started paying it off this month. I'm trying a bit harder to pay off a little more each month if possible so I can ensure that I will have this thing payed off in a timely manner. I'd actually like to be able to buy things like a car or something in my future.

Unfortunately we don't have student loans in our country. I think it's a good thing that we never had one because it would be hard to pay those kinds of loan. That means that after finishing college you will be faced with a mountains of debt and i think it's not a good thing. i personally would not take students loans. But I think that it will really work fine if that students will really take the study seriously and after finishing the school he can ultimately pay the loans. But if he suddenly get married then another problem may arises and I'm sure the loans can't be paid right away.

My college debt is in the five figures now, and I am going to be going to grad school this coming fall for my Master's degree so it will increase even more so. On the bright side I did get a pretty good paying job that I start in two weeks, which I will start to use to begin paying off some of the debt before interest begins to kick in on the loans while still in school.

We have about 8000 still to pay off. It'll take awhile but we have a plan. And it was worth it because my husband loves his job.

My partner is still carrying around a student loan debt, but because he is on a low income, he can continue to defer the payments.

Hi, momtrying2makeit. I had up to $2,669 in student loan debt in the past. But, they somehow took half of this amount out of my husband's income tax refund. They were not supposed to do this because the debt happened weigh before me and him even were married. I think that all I owe is up to over $1,000 now. Or I may not owe anything.. I dislike being into debt. College can make one have bad credit. It is great that you paid off your debt. I hate to see you paying off $20,000 into debt soon. That is a huge fee.

hi,I never applied for loans to complete my studies in here---though there are many banks which offer student loans i never considered it to be a wise option coz they can be a burden on us when we're outta college.Though they give some time to clear up the amount it would be at your back for some seven years or so and the interest keeps on growing over time.great day.

I had taken a 1000€ in 2009 now it still only about 300€ to pay back. I work now to return money to the bank in the future, i will never take any credits from the bank even for my studies, i don't want to always pay the bank until i would die!

hell0 mom! well, I don't have any students loan debt, because I have almost collect all the money that I need to pay my fees and I really don't like to loan debt and have never done it, because i know how cruel the banks can be, when they increase the % of the debts.

Currently I have none. I went into the military and got what college credits I do have from there. Right now I am a SAHM while my husband gets his nursing done. Then he will pay for me to go into culinary.

I am finishing up college and will have about $20,000 in student loans. I am currently searching very hard for a job for when I graduate in May. Hopefully I can have one lined up ahead of time and start paying it as soon as possible!
