i've been experiencing slow speed problems on my laptop lately and i couldn't think of any reason why this is happening, then i realized the only "major change" i had was when i upgraded my firefox to version 3.6? could this be the reason behind all these?

I have upgraded my Firefox to version 3.6, and I can say it is much faster. If is not fast enough for you, you can try the nightly build of Firefox (called Minefield). It is unstable but it runs even faster than Firefox 3.6.

I did not ahve this problem when i upgraded my firefox to 3.6 version some days ago!!So when i start my firefox it would be quite the same as in the old version as regards speed or other features..may be you can check for some problems on your general definition of firefox than the upgrade in itself!!

I have also bit problem with firefox 3.6 on Mac. I really, don't know what is the exact problem. As I use safari as my main browser so it doesn't bother me. Check you're firefox add ons, may be they are creating some problem for you. So try to uninstall firefox and reinstall it. That might help you.

I've also upgraded at 3.6 version of Firefox, but I must say it works good for me and never crashed since the upgrade was done. Try and see your regional settings - maybe it will help; or if you are using their persona look try and disable it and see what it happens.
