I can't believe it's been a year since I joined Mylot. It's amazing how time flies by, isn't it? I don't remember the exact date it was when I joined but it was in March 2009. I was looking for some kind of work to do online and I learned about Mylot on youtube. I just want to say it sure has been a lot of fun and I've learned so much. I've made so many good friends from all over the world. We really do help each other, too. The pay is not much, I know, but I always say every little bit helps. How long have you been with mylot? Tell me about your experiences here.

Time flies, so I would have to look at my profile to know exactly, but I think around 3 years. Congrats on your first year and I hope you continue to enjoy myLot. I sure do, and yes the pennies do add up. I think earning a little is a fun way to maintain interest here.

I think they really add up, too. I had my doubts about mylot when I first joined but I'm glad I stayed. Like I said, we help each other so much. I've learned so much from my friends I've made in other parts of the world. For example, when I had that plumbing problem when lightning struck the timer on my water heater back in the fall, my mylot friends from overseas told me about the interesting ways they get their water. I don't know how we would manage without indoor plumbing, though. Kathy.

I've only been with mylot for a few months now. I joined cuz our own Lakota and have not regretted one minute of it. I have had some discussions deleted cuz I apparently didn't read the terms/fax right --- But I have learned. I also have had two arguments with two separate people here and have lost their freindships. It's ok cuz one of them has this problem with being super nice on mylot pages and is a problem as a one on one friend----- But, the hurt has gone and I've learned that there are thousands of mylotters who like me !!! I do ok with the searchs and have found I enjoy most discussions and look forward to opening up my mail every day. Thanks for letting me talk :) hugs, quita

Thank you for responding, quita. Mylot is a good place to come and rant, isn't it, lol? It's also a good place just to come and talk and I enjoy talking. I have some friends here in town that I enjoy talking to, too, but I have a hard time getting a word in edgewise with them, LOL! I don't get involved with the arguments too much because I think it's silly and I don't like to argue, anyway. It upsets me. I don't think it's christian, either. Kathy.

You are sooo right about argumens on my lot. It is not the christian thing to do. God Bless, quita

Hi cyrus, when I have a check of my profile I can see "became member 4 years ago". oh no! I feel like I'm here not that long. I could hardly believe I'm already been member here for four years. This shows that how time really flies and happy time always slips by unconsciously... I have become members of several social network sites at the same time. And only myLot site can engage my great interest to keep on reading and posting here frequently...almost daily. I like to share my feeling and idea with people having common interests here no matter whether they are in or not in my friends list. I enjoy having mutual interaction with them in certain topics which have lots to share. Not only the wee earning, the info and knowledge acquiring, ....what I enjoy most is to meet humorous people who are good in creating funny fun that brings a lot of laughter to us during our leisure Happy posting

It is amazing how time flies by so fast, especially when you stay busy and are having fun. I also enjoy sharing my feelings and ideas with other people. I've always enjoyed writing, anyway. I used to write long letters to one of my cousins who lives in California. I used to also write long letters to my sister when she lived in Washington State, Connecticut, and New Orleans. I used to tell her about all the happenings around here, lol. I also enjoy all the humorous posts on here and I've made some funny friends as well. Thank you for responding. Kathy.

I believe they feel really happy when receiving letters from you for sure. Hopefully she would like to enjoy posting here later after knowing there are lots of fun available here I do enjoy writing and that's why I always try to log in here to read and to write once I grab any opportunity. Yeah, thanks myLot for providing such a wonderful forum for us to share our feeling and idea with so many beautiful people with common interest from all over the world

Hello there cyrus.. it's an awesome feeling for sure. I also feel happy each time a year has passed and I realized I've been here a bit longer than normal. I've never imagined myself to be involved in a site and loving it too. Like last time, I was on MIRC for years, but then I left it. I can't see the same thing for myLot. Good topic here.

What is MIRC? Is it a paying website like Mylot? I thought I might be interested in joining it if it is. Was there a problem with MIRC? I thought this might be the reason why you left it. Thank you for responding. I've really enjoyed mylot all these months, myself. Kathy.

I joined very recently. My first intention was to make money. I saw it is not so easy, but it is also not so difficult. i like the topics here. People seem to be honest because they don't care too much who's going to judge them here and that's good. Everyone is open-minded because everyone trying to earn money through internet is open-minded as well. I think the site has many opportunities - you can improve your English, become a faster writer with the keyboard, share your own opinion or request others opinion by making a discussion. it is just awesome and I am really enjoying posting comments here and discussing whatever interest me at the time. Greatest site ever :P All of you have a nice myLotting :)

Welcome to mylot. My first intention was to make money, too. Like you, I'm having a hard time finding something that's legitimate and something that I can make a good living with. Like I said, I'm really enjoying mylot. Even though it doesn't pay very much, every little bit helps. I'm in the states, myself, but I'm seeing it is good for those who are in other countries to help them improve their English. Like you said, we don't judge people here, either, and that's good. We're not suppose to judge. Kathy.

Hey, good to see a old member, I joined a weak and a half or so, I'll be honest I don't care, it's definitely not worth it to stay here for the money, and not every little bit helps, you may think so but it's not true, I mean one dollar doesn't help me buy a bottle of soda, that I drink in 4 hour or less, and I got 1 dollar in 1 weak here, so it's definitely not helping at all lol, there are better ways to make money lol, JOB ! I think this is an obsession people have, to get money for nothing, witch is not the case, but anyway I'm not here for the money, obviously, but I always liked social networks stuff like that, but the problem is on other sites there are many "trolls" or people use curse worlds way too much for my likings, and since I'm here I didn't seen any curse words, and people talk about meaningful things, pretty fun I have to say.

Welcome to mylot, silverjapan. I know the money is not enough to live on but I still think every little bit helps, myself. I'm actually looking for something where I can make a little more. Yes, I'm aware that a job is the best way to make money and I would much rather be working. I'm not doing this to get money for nothing. I wasn't raised that way. I love to work! My daddy was always proud of me because I wanted to work. You see, I'm getting SSI and my lawyer has advised me not to work because it could effect my SSI check. SSI stands for "Supplemental Security Income" which is a part of social security. Kathy.

I learn new things about other Countries religious beliefs, morals, standards, and ways of life etc. This site has been very educational for me. I also enjoy writing about my life experiences and daily happenings for others to see as well. As always..... HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB!!~

I'm glad that you have gotten a chance to meet several of your mylot friends face to face. I still haven't met any of mine face to face. It's because we all live so far apart. I've made a lot of friends on here, too, and learned a lot from other countries as well. For example, I had a plumbing problem back in the fall and it was so interesting to learn about how people in other countries get their water. I like writing about my life experiences, too. Hey Kathy! I am glad that you found mylot! I have now been here almost two years in June! It feels like so much longer than that! I found mylot by going to another site purely because I had made a bad mistake that might have cost me money if I hadn't been more careful! It turned out to be one of the best things that has ever happened to me! I had never been on any sites like this before and was always very wary of any types of forums until I came here! I have been here almost every day since expect when I went away on vacation and had no access to a computer and when my computer was "murdered" by the maintenance people who were putting in a new floor in my kitchen! Otherwise, I hardly ever miss a day! I love all my friends that I have made here, you included and don't remember what my life was like before coming to mylot! Happy one year! I hope you will enjoy many more! Hugs, Leslie

Hi Leslie! Isn't it amazing how time flies by so fast? It doesn't seem like it's been a year since I first joined. I believe you were one of the first friends I added on here. I don't blame you for wanting to wary of any forums on the internet. It pays to be that way. You just never know what you might get involved with. I really enjoy mylot because we can talk about any and everything we want to here. As one mylotter said, we don't judge people on here, either. We're not suppose to judge. I come here everyday, too, unless my internet is down like it was when I blew out a modem one time. I didn't know to unplug my computer when a bad storm was coming up at the time. I think I was away from here for three days at the time. I come on here as if I'm coming to work. It's sweet of you to say the things you did on here. I love all of my friends on mylot, too.Kathy.

Hellocyrus, I have been here in mylot for over a year now. But most of those months I am not active. I am enjoying mylot so much but due to personal issues and work that I can't come back to mylot more often. But now, I've decided to at least give 10 or more discussion in a day. As you said every little bit helps. The pay I receive in mylot really help me with my billings. I think I received three payments here already for the past year, and hopefully by next month I will be receiving a payment again, that is if I continue to respond to different discussion. So just have fun posting and good luck with your earnings. See you around.

I can't believe I have been in mylot over one year too. so far I just have over 1420 posts and was paid twice. I can't say I had big time here because recently I have no spent a lot of time on mylot. However I can see mylot grows bigger and bigger. It has over 200000 members now. Also I can see there are many active members who made mylot more active and appealing. I wish I have more time to spend here and open my views about life too. sometimes when i feel bored or lonely I like to spend time here to talk with other members. It's amazing.

I don't know if there is a place on here that tells how long you've been a member or not. I just know that I've been a member since March 2009 because I bought this computer in February of last year. Maybe some of the mylotters who have been here for longer than a year can tell you. I was told by one of the mylotters one time that numbers don't always mean anything but I would say by the number out beside your username, you have been here several months. Thank you for responding. Kathy.

hidden treasure - remote, secluded, fresh, unadulterated...
hello cyrus123, i've been with myLot for slightly more than a fortninght. i would say i stumbled upon it. and like any good encounter, it was love at first sight. i did wait a few days just to be sure of my feelings and i've never regretted since. i wish we could have met a decade ago... but its never too late. if we just depend on it for the earnings only, i think we are going to be disappointed. this is one place i meet friends around the globe, one place i share my sentiments, a place certainly to share ideas and it has been very very enriching. happy myLotting!!!

The man who posted the video about it on youtube said you wouldn't make very much. However, I thought it was better than nothing. I am lookig for something where I can make a little more to help supplement my SSI check. I really enjoy mylot beause not only is it paying website but we make friends from all over the world here and learn so much. This is also a place where we can come and rant, too, lol! Welcome to mylot, ethan! They pay you through paypal and you can withdraw your money from any atm machine that will accept visa, mastercard, or discover. Or, you can just take it to your bank and they will give you your money. I must admit that paypal does charge pretty high fees, though. Thank you for responding. Kathy.
