This is one thing why i do not like to stay for over an hour in a Restaurant. Most restaurants has this certain smell that clings on the clothes. The smell from the kitchen mixed with the smell of cigarettes from the other tables. This smell you'll bring home too. Have you notice it? if you do,does it not bother you?

Smoking isn't allowed in our restaurants here in Austin, so that's no biggie - about cooking - well, my nose isn't that sensitive... years of Afrin abuse!

Well, I'd probably smell like cats to you with all my cats... Honestly, we went out to eat tonight and every time the porch door swung open we nearly froze! And it was so nice before the wind picked up today!

It's never really bothered me. The only smell that bothers me when it gets in my clothes and hair is when I visit family who are smokers. That smell stays with me forever, and I hate it.

We don't have smoking in our restaurants here, so that is not an issue. Some restaurants here do have a smell, but I've never really noticed that it clings to you after you leave.

The completely non-smoking on public areas law recently took effect in where i live. I am happy they have imposed it now, then i have only the restaurant smell to dislike.

I think it doesn't bother me at all. It's not really a big deal for me, or maybe I just didn't notice it. The smell of the restaurant clinging into my clothes may have an effect on other people, or maybe the smell is just too strong for the others to notice it.

Smoking in a restaurant is outlawed in the restaurants, and bars, where I live, so that's not an issue. I've never noticed the smell of a restaurant, let alone the smell clinging to my clothes. So, no, it hasn't/doesn't bother me.

I don't go out to eat all that often, but I have been to places like that over my lifetime. I noticed the smell, but its not at all unplesent, and I'm not there more then an hour at most. Due to health reasons that's just not possible for me. Due to the fact church mice have more money then I do, I simply cook at home as much as possible.
