How do you think about Chinese? Thank you.

The world is like a big family, all the people from the different countries are family, I think. As you know, my country China are not strong enough. There are lots of the poor in our country. But we are still eager to be known. Could you please tell me how do you think about the Chinese? Thank you.

China will rule the world. Because of the cheap products and aggressive will to sell the products in each corner of the world. Actually, I haven't met any Chinese yet, but when I meet one I will surely try to find more about Chinese and China. What I don't like is when Chinese come into the country and then they create China quarters. But I understand why do they do that, united they are stronger so I guess it is ok. Take care and happy mylotting!

I don't believe China will rule the world in the future. Although they very disciplined and hardworking people and are good tradesmen, America will still emerge as ruler of the world. If you are good in history, compare the story how did America emerged as a nation, and how did China emerged, I am more impressed and delighted America's history, and not much with China. Yes, of course, there's a greener economic pasture in China, but I believe, the glory of the future still belongs to America, and will go back to America.

Well, I would say that I would have to disagree on that. China has the biggest population in the world, but it is not very likely that they will rule the world as Fadolf says. Why do I think like that. It's simple - there has to be a political domination for a nation over the entire globe so that they will make what they say dominant. It's simply won't happening with the UN and EU, and US and Russia around. Cheap products and such are just not the way to rule the world, there are cultural differences and other nations that are proud and strong would not accept other's domination which may even lead to crisis or war. Such claims are nothing more than laughable.

Thank you very much for your response. As a Chinese, I don't believe China will rule the world in the future. Because most of us are still poor.

Hi emelcindy, I am from India. For a few years after our independence, we became firm believers in Hindi Chini bhai bhai (Indians and Chinese - brothers). Dont really know why and when things soured. After all, we get to read only what our newspapers feed us. We did have that war - after which trust became so difficult. May be you can clarify why that war was fought - the reason that was given to you all. I dont even like Tibet occupation, or interference with Nepal, or into the Northeastern frontiers. Going forward, such territorial boundaries are not likely to mean much. :( We do need to look out for humanity as a whole - because now it is our survival that may be in jeopardy. You tell me if some mistrust would not creep in after this.

Thank you very much. You told me more, thank you very much. I am young that I really don't know the whole wars. I just know all is for the land. You know all the wars in the world is the Land, land and land. I know India is a friendly country as I was a little girl. But we feel sensitive when someone talk about Tibet. I still believe that the Tibet makes we lose the mistrust. I don't work for our goverment, and I also don't agree some things with our goverment. But I want to say I hate Dalai Lama. We need the peace and need development to improve our rights and so on. But he want to destroy everything. He want to be the king of Tibet. He is like a thief,a criminal. Unfortunately, India supports him. And supply more to this criminal. India helps us a lot,but India also intervenes China. That is why we lose mistrust for each other. But we are the people, I think we still can be the good friends. Thank you so much.

Hi emelcindy, I have already mentioned before that I have been led to believe a few things by way of "political propaganda" through newspapers, and your government must have done that too. So we will never really know the truth. Because of that, we should not let our relationships here sour, ok? :) As far as I know, Dalai Lama did nothing similar to what Bin Laden and his followers did. I am for peace. If talks fail with one set of negotiators, then another set of negotiators should meet and discuss it, or join an existing set of negotiators. But the process should continue till a peaceful solution can be found. Fighting and picking arms is not my way of solving it.

China's biggest problem is in human rights. China is getting better than from the past. They are learning free markets allow much more prosperity that controlled ones. They are so afraid of letting go of the control. If they would allow freedom of speech and press, they would discover it would make their country stronger not weaker. Freedom always brings new and better ideas.

Thank you. I think we have the good human rights, but it still needs to improve. We can talk about our goverment and we can tell many many unfair things to our premier Mr. Wen. I don't think Obama and his goverment can do that. As Chinese, we know what the freedom is we want. We want peace, we want the respection from other countries. Thank you again.

I work in a multi-cultural environment.we have Malaysians,Filipinos,Indonesians, and Taiwanese in my office.while Taiwanese are not exactly Chinese, majority of them are nice.they do feel ashamed speaking in English, probably of fear that we English nationalities cannot understand them.I had a few Mandarin speaking lessons and it was fun.

sorry, what I meant to say was some Taiwanese fear speaking to us because we Filipinos can speak English quite well.they are afraid that we might laugh or ridicule them. I know some Taiwanese who can speak English quite well.one of my colleagues probably studied in the United States or somewhere in the west, because he can speak English well and he does so with accent. I learned a few common Mandarin expressions, like xie xie ni,wo hen hao,and ni hao.it was fun learning Mandarin.

Thank you very much. You are very pretty. I am sorry, I think taiwan is part of China. Taiwanese are also Chinese, no matter some of them agree or not. We have the same culture. But our development was slow because of the party in past. It is really difficult to learn the new language to us. English and Chinese is greatly different. I should tell that we really fear English nationalities because of the aggression wars happened in long long time ago.

What I think about China is that they have a variety of ethnic groups and very tasteful cuisine (drooling). I had a chinese friend and she once invited me to her house and had some traditional food that her family had made. It was really good in opinion. I also know that China is a country that's developing at a very fast rate.

Thank you. I will cook for you if you come to China. :)

All that I know about China is that it is one of the four oldest civilizations in the world. I am from India and also know that the relations between India and China is not that good and all the cheap items in our country is from China. I love Chinese food and it is my favourite. Would surely love to visit China once and see the Great Wall of China.

Thank you. No matter what happened in our two countries, we love the peace, not the war. We are a family. Welcome to China. :)

My father came from Amoy. I still have an aunt in China and i am sure many many cousins all of whom i have not met or known. I think all countries in the world have it's poor-side. There is not a single country where everyone is rich ( i mean financially). And here, you mean - China still is eager to be known to the world? Boah! CHINA is written all over! We are in Germany and in our hsehold alone, my kid has many toys Made in China. Most things in the market are labeled made in china. From head to foot accessories! clothes, kitchenware, gadgets, etc I think Chinese are very industrious. They like to work, work and work. They are very creative and have a good sense of food taste. I love chinese foods! And China has a unique cultural heritage - very beautiful. You should be proud!

Thank you so much. I want to express that China is eager to be accepted by more and more countries. I can feel the discrimination when I worked in other countries, because I am a Chinese.

I am half Chinese and Filipino but I am proud of having both blood within me. I think Chinese people are really hard working and know a lot about food. That is one of the many things I am proud of are the delicious food. Do not worry because you are not the only one that has a poor country. This may be a problem for you as an individual but just think of it as a challenge in life. God knows you can do it that is why you are there. Be positive and God bless
