I just was having problems with my computer and was worried I was going to have to shell out some bucks for some software help. It was freezing up and slow and all those things that drive a person crazy. My battery was charging and I had to buy a new one. So my technician came out from the company and replaced my power suppy and I even got a new key board and top to my computer. Got the new battery and it still wouldn't charge. The tech came out again and replace the mother board. Now the battery charges and everything works extremely well. I am so jacked about it! Have you had problems with some item recently and had to get it fixed or replaced? Isn't it a good feeling to have things working right? Your thoughts.

I hate it when things aren't working right! I guess my biggest issues have been with computers. It's usually either one of two things to get those things running right..money and more money..lol...I'm glad you have yours running right again. I haven't got to use mine enough lately to know the difference...lol

I had mandatory seven day weeks at my job before I retired. Not fun! Hang in there, Dearie. It can't last forever. And I hear a short nap can do you good too.

Very busy..they have also made it mandatory for us to work 7 days a week at the company I work for. I have barely had time to scratch my hiney. My daughter is doing softball this year too so I've been exhausting myself trying to keep up with life. I think if I had known I was going to be working this much overtime, I would have waited on the school thing. I am hanging in there though and hoping I can keep my grade point average where I need it. I will fight it to the end but between friends..I'm tired..lol.

I'm getting a little worried about mine because I think something will go soon, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. It had slowed way down. I got rid of something and it went a little faster. I may need to get rid of more things, but I have to be careful of what I get rid of.

It's 4 1/2 years old. No warranty that's that long.

Do you have a warranty. I think now days it is important because you really can't trust some manufacturers do stand by their work.

I had a lot of trouble at one point with my laptop, and it turned out I had fried a connector, or rather a winter lightening storm had done so. Eventually I am sure it will bite the dust. I have had much better luck with my desktop. I do have a son who helps me out immensely when I am having a problem with the computer though. It does feel really good when everything is working smoothly.

Oh, it sure does feel good when things work smoothly. Laptops do have their draw backs.

I'm glad you got everything replaced and it's working better now. My computer tends to freeze with me from time to time and it drives me crazy! I had to have my modem replaced twice because I forgot to unplug my computer when a bad storm was coming up. I got them free of charge since my computer was still under warranty. I just bought this computer in February 2009. Kathy.

Yes, I am glad to get it working again too. Mine used to freeze real bad and now it doesn't. I hated the freezing up. Lucky you had the modems replaced and had the warranty. It seems alot of people don't.

In my experience I had to replace the motherboard of my computer when it fails to boot in windows. The board only lasted for 2 weeks and it was purely defective so I had it replaced. Good thing too because the store just closed after I had it replaced. I don't know why. I hope I didn't bought illegal shipments. Lol

Hi celticeagle, i have a hp mini note. i use it when my wife is using our desktop computer. last month when i turn it on it wont boot i tried several times to boot it, i even charge it again but it still wont boot so i return it back to where i bought it. its a good thing that the warranty has not yet expire. after two weeks i got it back and its working now. I feel relieved knowing that i won't pay half its original price for fixing it.

My cousin has that HP mini too and had same problem as yours. It does boot but freezes on the Windows Logo. We were like trying to fix the problems ourselves for a week but then decided that it has to be replace because we couldn't solve it. Luckily the warranty didn't expire yet.
