From pink to green

have you noticed the sudden change of MMDA's theme color? Have you seen railings around Metro Manila being changed and repainted from pink to green? Even the MMDA building in the metro is being repainted into green since the resignation of Bayani Fernando. I have read an article saying that it is due to the preparation to the "Go Green" program of the said government agency. Others say that it is GMA's way of promoting Gibo Teodoro who is running for President and from the administration party. Is this GMA's way indeed of manipulating the Filipino's mind again? I am not pro-BF ( Bayani Fernando) but I certainly would disagree with the current administration doing all means to promote their candidate. It is a sad fact that here in our country, everything is done for politics' sake.

I noticed the green railings and i like it more than the pink. It's more pleasing to the eyes. But i'm not aware that this is being done for political reasons. If ever it is, i think they are doing the right move. I mean changing the color from pink to green. But i would not still vote for Gibo , not that i'm against Gibo but for the fact the he is connected to GMA. Apologies to Gibo followers, but i would strongly consider him as my candidate if run as an independent.

Seemingly it is indeed just a project but if you come to think of it, it is a promotion. I too wouldn't vote for Gibo because of GMA but Gibo would have been better if he joined other parties though..

I can say it's wrong choice of color. I could relate the color green more to loren than to Gibo. Based on platforms, loren's focus is the environment. I certainly don't relate orange to nature. You're also right, Gibo could have chosen to join other parties but i don't think it's an option. I heard Gibo's previous interviews and i can see how loyal he is to his boss.

Yeah that is also my impression why they are changing the color because of politics. We all know that Gibo's party color is colored green so they are sort of changing the color to green. I think slowly but surely they are slowly conditioning the voters by changing the colors and also try to distract since the color pink is literally identified with Bayani too.

yes and because Bayani is not running under the administrations banner.. They covered their real motif of promoting Gibo to the project "Go Green" but it is too obviuos.

It is pretty obvious that there is an attempt to erase what Bayani did in his term as he is obviously attached to that color.

politics here in our country is really that damn bad. well, how can any wise man ever think the other way. the administration is just spending a lot of money for this move but how can we stop the corrupt practices like this? let's just make our best move in May.

I am living in Davao city so I did not notice the things you mentioned, but based on your story, oh my God!that's unthinkable!why they blatantly used the color associated with the standard bearer of the administration?are thy hopeless and desperate to win? Politics in the Philippines sometimes is very disgusting that's why I am carefully choosing a candidate whom I know can help change the bad system in the Philippines.

yes i think so, they are desperate to win and to finally carry out their hidden motive of going thru chacha and make GMA the prime minister.. though this is only a speculation, but as you see things are leading to that already..

Yeah looking at our current officials abusing power it is not good for the country. Using government funds, tax payers funds to promote someone is a big No No. Hope the candidates will be the one to stop supporters to use government funds as tool for their advantage. Looking at it, Now they are not yet the people in position funds are uses for them, how much more funds will be use by them in time they are elected as officials. Do we really want to vote this kind of officials?
