Super Cool way to download YouTube videos for free and fast! / myLot

Guys and Gals I have stumbled upon a really good way to download YouTube videos right to your desktop - this works in Linux and Windows based platform. All you need is the Python Interpreter 2.x version

Hey all that softwares and add-on are always there - but I posted this so that everyone can do a bit of programming in Python! and it is really cool too in the way that the script downloads! Go Linux!

I don't know about Windows and Linux, but if you have a mac, then you can just mail the link to yourself and download it from the app named "Mail"... Or you can download something like "Get Tube".

eheh yes or there are also many softwares that takes video from youtube or even just the audio files n the video background if you like!!Some of them are ok but i guess even your solution based on linux it sounds ok...

I have downloaded songs from youtube with the help of a downlaod manger.. i always used Internet Download manager.. for downloading songs and movies from internet.. it is a very good software for downloading software and movies..i will also try your trick that you have told in your discussions.. have a nice day and keep mylotting always..

IDM is good - but a program in a language to download YouTube videos is much better!

I don't know what other do for download videos from youtube..but how i download i can say to u...and i think nothing is better then to download videos from youtube...just download a software...youtubedownloader...and after downloading this software...just copy the url of the videos from youtube which u like...and paste it in the box in youtubedownloader..and after few minutes it downloads..and there is another facility of converter...in any format...BEST OF LUCK!
