it is the second week already but my daughter, who is only 1 year old, and i are still sick. it's not like we are bed ridden, just cough and colds but they are persistent. our pedia said that if this continues, she may have to give antibiotics to our baby. but if i can prevent it, i don't want to. antibiotics kill even the good bacteria in the body. and that is why i don't like it. it will take quite some time for the body to build up its healthy microflora. i just give her high doses of supplements to help her immune system fight off any infection. especially high doses of vitamin c. that is what worries us mothers, right? do you have any alternative solution to persistent cough and colds? please help. thanks so much! God bless us all! :D

I guess it is the weather we are all into. I have officemates in here that seems to have the same problems you are having. Coughs and colds are very prevalent in these days because of the very dry season colds and cough viruses thrived in us because we are somehow vulnerable since our body resistance also lowers because of the heat we are experiencing.
